Does this offer come around often?

the "subscribe now" link just kept taking me to some T&Cs, but no option to sign up.

solution: click my cart at the top right, then create account on the top right. make sure to click "sign up to newsletters". you should receive 2 emails when creating account. 1st just says welcome to harvey photo center, 2nd is an email to confirm signing up to newsletters. the voucher came through to my junk folder around 5min later

Here's my chance to visit a Harvey Norman store again - it will be the first time since the last free-photos offer.

Do i pick up in store or does it ship?
    Thanks

  • Thanks, sent it to all my friends who recently had their wedding haha

i got all my wedding photos printed for free last time this deal came around 😂

Might be silly question but is it 50 of the same print? Or can you select 50 different prints.

Also, say for the prints, if I made it all the way down Gerry's driveway to get a few snaps and got a shot of a sign that said 'abandon all hope all ye who bargain' but it wasn't well lit, would I get prints of darkness? 🤔

You can select 50 different prints.

Why don't we all print out 50x " I'm a professional" and not bother to pick them up " 😂

  • Thanks, order placed

  • Does the unlimited Gmail + trick work?

    • What trick is this?!

    • +1

"The Gmail + trick uses what's called “plus addressing” to quickly create unique email addresses that can receive mail in an existing email account. All you have to do is add a "+" symbol and any word or combination of characters after your username and before the "@" symbol."

No option to pick up from HN Melbourne City? :(

Tried with 2 different accounts but the voucher didn't arrive after 3 hours. Also clicking the signup always opened a new page so created an account with the above suggestion. Anyone else having this issue? Checked my spam folder as well.

Your IP and device has been spam blocked.

      • Not sure what this means. 2 different accounts but with valid emails that I use. Any idea how can I sign up to this deal?

  • So you have to upload your images to Harvey Norman servers…!?

    No thanks

    • Pretty sure it used to go through Fujifilm, while branded as Harvey Norman Photos.

      • I would imagine the images are uploaded to Harvey's file servers, then downloaded to the nearest store, and the machines theybuse to print are fuji.

I worked for Harvey's for years, their IT security is……mm. not so gooood!

A lot of offer's like Dan Murphy's can only be claimed via their app. This is so they can harvest the data from buyers, websites still offer metrics, just fewer.

        Fairly unavoidable, but not completely

        • I would imagine the images are uploaded to Harvey's file servers, then downloaded to the nearest store, and the machines theybuse to print are fuji.

Yeah thats not how it works. I've worked in a couple of fujifilm labs (including one at harvies).

Nothing runs through harvey norman servers. The machines are fujifilms and have their own connection to the fuji servers. They have no access to the Harvey Norman network.

  • Cheers OP, I wish I knew about this earlier as I ordered over a hundred prints recently

As I was collecting an order of 50, got asked by the lady that served me what's going on with these orders of 50 photos… Appears they are getting hammered with orders of lots of 50, and even people collecting multiple orders of 50. I'm guessing people are ordering lots of 50's using multiple accounts. Wouldn't be surprised if they pulled this soon, if people continue to make multiple orders on various accounts.

Case of "I didn't choose the OzBargain life, the OzBargain life chose me"… Or moreso "this is why we can't have nice things" 🤷‍♂️

  • Does anyone know if Harvey Norman still prints on a 'wet lab' with Fujifilm Crystal Archive paper? Or have they updated to dry labs now?

    • I think it depends on the store.

Some bigw stores still had wet labs recently but many (most?) labs look to have been removed. I assume its similar with HN but almost never go into their stores to see.
