Don't think the 4-ply has been this low for a while, the last time it was lower was back in October 2022. I saw comments recently about the change in quality but $15 for 30 rolls of 4-ply… why not!?

Limited to 2.

4 ply blocks my toilet. I just felt like sharing.

    • +12

That's because you use too many sheets before flushing

    • +18

      Just own your superpowers, Clogzilla.

    • Everyone knows you split and only use two ply. Double length

    • Fold. You can get two uses per square, easily.

      • +2

        The midas touch

  • +12

Surely only folders would consider 4 ply, scrunchers already waste enough as it is

    • +2

Scrunching creates multiple folds which aids with the scraping, saving paper in the long run.

      • +1

Keep your cult like wiping in the dark web

Aldi sells cheaper w/o buying limitation.

    • +1

Since when does Aldi sell 4 ply???

      • -2

it doesn't, but it's all about the wipability

        https://www.choice.com.au/products/home-and-living/household…

        • +4

I take most things Choice says with either a grain of salt or at least significant skepicism these days but the puncture test is telling if you're a fan. Aldi 3 ply 66%, Quilton 4 ply 90% (more than 36% better).

Wife made the mistake of buying Aldi 2 ply recently. They couldn't roll that stuff any thinner if they tried. Doubling it over doesn't help because intrinsically it's structurally compromised due to being so thin (and possibly other reasons).

    • -3

The Aldi stuff is very good. Anyone done the maths on per-sheet vs this?

      • The real maths is about when human being would be grown without doing shit. Shitless human would be the ultimate evolution of humanity.

        • What would you do with your butthole then?

          • +1

@djmm: Don't worry about me, I would be dead by then. But you can plug yours with your carrot, so don't waste it.

        • -2

Weird extrapolation but some people already 'don't do shit' and don't use their available brain function (esp the anterior insular cortex, amygdala) so we're possibly already regressing that ^^ way.

  • +3

39c per 100 sheets for this one. Relatively expensive sheet.

  • +15

I always opt for https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09T1F745V instead. 21.60 for 48 rolls or 25 cents/100 sheets compared to the above.

    • +1

      wise man !

    • +2

Prefer this options also. Thanks for the price reminder.

    • +1

Got this thanks though worth noting that the 21.60 price is for S&S. one-off price is $24 which is 28c/100 so still cheaper

      • +4

True. Did neglect to mention that, but I think any Ozbargainer not hitting the S&S button is not a true Ozbargainer. :P

  • +6

Bought 5 times before. Not deliverable to this address. Back in to Aldi.

  • +4

I can’t go back to 3 ply after using this.

    Oos

      Back in stock

      • Back out (grabbed the last two)

        • Still available for me

          • @Regie69: Unavailable for me (but I have 2 on order, so maybe they're limiting orders?)

            • @dontpanic: Yeah, usually limit of 2 on TP and boxes of soft drink, some things are a limit of 5.

              • @Miss B: Must be a new thing. I used to order these 5 or 6 at a time.

      • Thanks grabbed one

  • My butt thanks you!

  • Price matching Coles at $16.50 (save $1.50)

  • Cheapest it's ever been.

    • Was $12.50 ($11.25 S&S) (Nov 27, 2019) according to CC and sub $15 before S&S many times between 20-21.

    You have been warned..!
    He bites!!

  • Back in stock 14:54pm, S&S two quantity, ETA delivery this Friday 3 January. Thanks OP!

  • Haha, first time I actually got a good deal before it ran out of stock.

When i saw this deal in the morning, there were only 4 upvotes. I had no idea whether its good deal or not. But, people gotta shit anyway, and toilet paper dont go bad. So i just bought it without any knowledge.

  • +2

    This Quilton stuff good too!

    https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07KY6Z67S?psc=1&smid=ANEGB3WVE…

    45 rolls, 180 sheets per roll… $22.27 S&S (cheaper than the 4 ply at 27c per 100. Kids bums don't need 4 ply… 3 is plenty!)

  • 3ply is the sweet spot for me not 4

    • +1

Definitely watch out for hitting the sweet spot when wiping.

  • +1

    Purchased 11 times

  • Thanks Op

This one no good the king size one is better

    • +1

Sshh dont reveal trade secret to the plebs, C**** may increase the shelf price if too popular 😅

    • I prefer this one over the king size

      • yeah coz youre not a natural king

    • Only if the make a king gold. Current king is 3 ply and limiting factor.
      King Gold = true king
      King= peasant king

      • +1

They do make them. Quilton King Size Gold 4 Ply.
It's a Coles special as I know. We go to coles just to get that.

  • Expired! Price up to $16.20 with S&S. Thank god I managed to get two packs… lol

  • icare toilet tissue is $6.50 for 6 double length 3ply rolls at WW.

A better deal than this one, obviously.
