    Random question, but how do you compare puffer jackets for warmness? I have one of these atm but would like something warmer again for cold climates… Is it the 600 down rating? Ive looked at katmandu ones and they have the same 600 fill?

      Personally they run slughrly bigger for me compared to something from Kathmandu. Wish bcf did stock XS like on Macpac's site

          Yeah definitely size down. I tried an M, I'm average build. The S fit me better. The M made me look like I recommend restaurants.

      Haven't worn it but probably not at all comparable. Try them both on, the Halo shits all over pretty much any normal-priced jacket I've ever found.

        Is it safe to assume that all Halo Down jackets currently sold in the market are V2 and V1 is no more available for purchase?

        Apparently, most of retailers and macpac itself has removed V2 from the titles on websites but the jacket tags says it V2.

        The jacket itself is very light and comfy. The battery does add weight in that spot though but it’s not a big problem.

            @BargainsGrabber: Luckily I've paid by credit card. It was such a muck around to contact support and then they said nah sorry it's already declared as ready to pack and send. Funny enough they had the 4XL size while BCF only has 3XL. Might be able to tag swap when returning in store lol

      It's the type of material and the pocket on the inside doubles as a bag for it and folds up into itself. This is probably why it is very wrinkled but after a while most of the wrinkles sort itself out. There will always be a few but not as bad as it being unpacked.

    Does not work. Registered for the new account and got the CLUB20OFF code, which was then applied, but not accepted for an order of the Macpac Halo Jacket on BCF website.
    Also got free delivery, without the need to add an additional low cost item.

    Edit: My mistake. Appears some items (e.g. Sea 2 Summit spoon) aren't acceptable for the CLUB20OFF code.

        Yes, Everything new. I tried the purchase the Sea to Summit Delta Long Spoon Grey with the jacket, which did not work. However, a trial with the "Twippy Fuzzy String Ball" did trigger the code.

        Frustrating as I already went ahead with the purchase at $99.99 (but with cashrewards).

    For those wondering why you get the error ‘CLUB20OFF cannot currently be added to your cart,’ it’s because you cannot use the coupon on clearance items. To get around that, you need to add another item to your cart that is not on clearance. Another tip is to add any item just to qualify for free delivery, and then return that item to the store for a refund.

      The OP says can stack but it's the same code, for new member signups? Otherwise would be $60. Also what are some cheap items not on clearance?

      $80 is a great price, tempting but have the uber light version and think heaps warm enough for BNE. Also rolls up pretty small.

        Nopes, I have bought from BCF and title on website doesn't says that it's V2 but the tag says its V2.

        This seems dodgy that why they have removed V2 from titles on websites including macpac website itself. Only Rebel title shows it's V2, apart from that, all other websites don't mention it.
