I initially posted it as iPhone 15 Pro Max 512 GB, but the listing is obviously for non-Max Pro.

Now I edited this description and you're to decide if it's a deal.

Officeworks have 512 GB models unavailable online, but if you find one in store, their price beat calculates at $2,048.96 for this very model. See all OW iPhone 15 Pro listings.

Check other colours and capacities, but I can see 256 GB models are entirely price-matched by OW already, so no price beating here.

$2000 for any phone is an insane joke. Please , can anyone justify it ? You can buy a 75" tv for that and get change.
Why would you need this ?

      • +5

Go ahead and fit a 75” TV with a super computer built into it in your pocket then get back to us.

        • -2

          Ha ha ! Super computer?????????
          You must be joking.
That's why all the Bitcoin miners are using iPhone's.
Again , why do you need all this power for ?
I know Tik Tok can be really power hungry.
          Games ? PC thank you.

@Wombat cave: Perhaps not in the literal sense but they do possess processors that are more powerful than most home PC’s.

And F#ck Bitcoin miners and F#ck TikTok.

            Mostly games :)

@EitherWayUp: Sale of PC's have hit the wall about 15 years ago when most people realised that you didn't need to upgrade them. Most people just search the web and shop on them.
Gamers are the only fools that buy high end PC's and CadCam users.

You can probably eat for a year for $2000 if we're just comparing things.

Yes, it's expensive af. It's also relatively good value to some.

      • And here I have been thinking and thinking and thinking whether I should spend $2800 on a 85 inch TV.
I am no miser, but I strongly believe these things are not worth it.

    • You literally posted a PS5 'deal' at RRP. Just like you may think Ps5 is of 'value' some people like Apple.

You may not value Apple products, but there are people that do. Literally every Apple deal has a smarty pants giving their opinion on pricing.

      • Those of low IQ or too lazy to Google it.

    • I just cracked my Pixel 6a screen and debating whether to get it repaired for ~$250 or buying another similar phone for ~$350. Then I get a notification for this phone 🤯

    • +4

Yeah I spend about $500 and keep my phone for 5 or so years. Does the job just fine.

  • +2

I got a Samsung S23 256 at 50% off which was still $750 and I thought it was expensive. This is just next level, if you are planning to buy this and not use it for the next ten years, you are cooked.

    • Salary sacrifice it

      • I did lol I do work from home so worked out well but stuff paying 2.5k just for an iPhone.

  • Bargain, sold my car, my android and my other 2 cars.

Back when I was a boy we used to use 2 tin cans and a piece of string, no network outages, no scammers, no ongoing costs, we were living the dream…..
We also had a lot of spare time to enjoy life because our lives weren't controlled by a phone. Smart phones breed dumb people imho.

With all new phone models you're paying for the R and D costs as well as a built in top level digital camera, the modern phone is a technical masterpiece and is probably worth every cent when you look at what they can do and what's packed inside such a tiny package. They are also very reliable considering the amount of components and the pissling some people give them, I just wish they could make them a bit tougher. I'm sure they could but that would be bad for sales.

Back when I was a boy we used to use 2 tin cans and a piece of string,

You had tins and a piece of string?? Back when I was a boy I had to get up in the morning at 10 o'clock at night, half an hour before I went to bed, eat a lump of cold poison, work 29 hours a day down mill and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our dad would kill us and dance about on our grave singing 'Hallelujah". Greetings from Yorkshire!

And recycling it for more than it's worth

    • How

  • who would want to spend ~$650 more just for 384gb more storage when you can just get a 1tb external ssd through the usb-c to offload to for an extra $100 or whatever they're going for now? way easier to use on other devices too
