Approximately 7.4% discount if you pay with the Vanilla Visa gift cards

      • +2

I calculated the deal as it is (without point chasing / WW purchase). Thanks for including the amount for those willing to do so.

Before anyone commits to this ots worth point out..

    1. It calculates to around ~4% savings/ discount.. very medioca.
    2. Most partners program offer 2-5% discount on GC purchases without minimum spend unlike this deal.
    3. Iv seen better cashback/ shopback deals.

      Medi what ocker?

  • +1

Factor in likely foregoing increased bank bonus cashback with shopback. Having $500 loaded credit will stop you from partial payment with credit card if under $500. The old trick of ordering and cancelling to reduce credit no longer works as they will retrospectively attribute the refunded gift card credit to the new order.

    • Many options, most people are happy with the initial discount/deal and don't try to double dip. You end up buying stuff from Amazon so no doubt would use it up (but would take me a while).

Thanks, bought 2x $250 Amazon gift cards with a $500 Vanilla Visa gift card, got $20 promotional credit just in 2 minutes.

    • Did you get any payment declines? Amazon seems to be blocking my Vanilla card :(

      • No, So far not yet.

  • +3

Bought one! Thanks 🙏. We buy most of our household stuff from Amazon nowadays. 4% discount isn’t much, but better than nothing.

    • cancel order and rebuy or buy a 2nd and return the first one

      • Don't know if I'd bother for $20 for an item like that and posting it. I'm sure they will drop in price by $20 in the next while.

        • +1

Yeah, I won't bother for $20 dollar, is already arriving today cannot cancel,

and I'll keep one shot in case the price drops a lot during Prime Days in 2 weeks

          • +3
