You can request to port your number to Boost when activating the SIM. Before porting the number, contact your current service provider to confirm personal details. Make sure your Name and Date of Birth registered with the number are 100% correct, including spaces. Ask to update your details if anything is incorrect. Once confirmed, provide the exact details to Boost to initiate the porting. Some carriers will send you an SMS to authorize the porting request, so ensure the current SIM is inserted until the service is disconnected.

      Get a cheap Sim from coles or Woolies and port out then back.

      I picked up a cheap Coles Mobile SIM on sale, ported out onto it for a few weeks and then back onto a new Boost Sim (got it via the Cash reward $50 cashback).

      It's a bit of mucking around but worth the savings IMO.

    If you already using Boost then the only way you can use this sims is port out to another network and then port back in.
    I dnt think you can stack your current plan with this becasue Boost doesnt have that option .
    Of course we would love to keep our customers but only thing we can do is keep selling these on good prices.

      Hi,
      Once the sim is activated, you can log into your Boost app and convert the physical sim to e-sim. Please see the following steps to convert your sim to e-sim.
      With all things eSIM, your phone needs to be compatible.
      Then all you need to do is jump onto the My Boost Mobile app, and there two different ways to do it within the app.

      Services tab
      On the services homepage, tap the service you want to switch
      Scroll down to the bottom and tap ‘Transfer or restore eSIM’.
      Follow the prompts and you'll be binning your SIM card in no time.

      Get help
      Tap Get help and select your service number
      Select set up or manage eSIM
      From here, we'll guide you through the process and you'll be physical SIM-less in a few minutes.

    @oztechtraders Could you please let me know what type of postage is used for the free shipping option? i.e. Is it posted through a paper envelope? If yes, how much postage will be put on the envelope? My LPO is shrewd and will not deliver anything that's not letter, but posted with letter postage amount. There will be a penalty of $2.50 + required postage difference + $1.10 processing fee and have to collect the item in person.

    I'm currently travelling in Vietnam with my Boost SIM in my phone. I bought an eSIM from the best local telco Viettel and I can make calls and have data in Vietnam. Now, somehow I can make calls to Australia using my Boost number. How is it possible? Wifi calling?

      You can port across to boost just using the normal method. It’s easiest to log into the boost app with your Telstra ID to do so. This pack will be a physical sim.

    I activated my SIM today and ported over my number from another provider. Downloaded the boost app. However, it is still showing a 170g data limit to clarify this deal comes with 170g data + a bonus of 170g so a total of 340g? or it is just 170g?

    The code indicated no longer works but a new code (QQMWYGSP) is listed on the site but now showing a discount price of $189. Strange that it's now virtually impossible to receive and activate the SIM by 5th August to get the extra 10G but the price has gone up.

      Was able to purchase this just last night for $184 - appears to have gone up by $5.
