    • $3,749.25

      • Thank you

    • +1

85" Frame (2024 version) $3140 inc delivery in the recent Bing Lee 15% off sale.

      • Seems like a banger price.

  • +2

I thought loyalty code doesn't work on edu, that's what I was told when I was getting a washing machine

    • +1

Yup your best option is to try the app download

      • Used it once, do you happen to know if it's per phone download or per account for app purchase?

  • +2

    Per account afaik

  • Come on… i just got one for 1.7k a few weeks ago…

    • And priced dropped even further? Who would have thunk it, never happens

  • +1

Is it true that the actual artwork is a monthly subscription service?

    • +1

Yes, but there is so much high quality free art online, and artdeco have a great converter for configuring them to display perfectly on the frame. The subscription wasn't worth it to me.

    • +1

useum.org all of those are licenced for free use

or lots of other resources like wallpapers 4k. easy to put those onto USB drive and copy to the tv

    • +1

You can add your own custom images, so just get stuff online for free.

  • What do people use to achieve a really clean installation with no visible wires/cables on the wall?

    • during renovations, I had them put a conduit into the brick wall. The walls needed patching anyway so it didn't create a whole lot of new work.

      • Thanks for that. And you then had the one connect box in a separate location?

        • +1

The single wire to the connect box is very long so gives you quite a bit of flexibility

        • +1

My current setup is a conventional TV so I routed all the HDMI cables and Usb cables through the conduit the entry point is around the height of the TV buffet and the exit is just above the TV bracket so you don't see any wires.

With a one connect box, the singular wire would replace 3-4 HDMI cables

          • @boretentsu: With the Frame TV obviously you can use the one cable. However, with a normal TV I think some of the of the cables need to be in separate conduit to be compliant.

    • Do you have double brick or plasterboard (brick veneer).

      • +1

        Plasterboard.

I’m thinking of getting one of those enclosures that goes between the studs and it houses everything whilst allow a flush mount on the wall.

  • Any chance of checking the price for 55 inch? Thanks.

The same prices are available through the Samsung government store. You'll need a .gov.au email to sign up.

    • I'm seeing normal price with a linked .gov.au email

  • Bought 65” for under $1k last year via deal posted here.
    Good tv.
No matter what I do, the smudge marks on the screen can’t be removed. So keep the kids away.

      • Seriously?
I thought it’d be too harsh?
I have used screen cleaners so far.

    • Check reddit. Damp microfibre cloth and dry magic eraser.

    • Hi, can you share how to get below 1k for the 65" last year?

      • Wait, mine was 2022 model. Just realised this is 2024 model. Cracker of a price this

        • Yes, even for the 2022 model, the lowest price has been around $1,100. Do you know of any other ways to get it cheaper?

    • -1

Distilled water + Microfiber cloth - Clean in one direction. The distilled water is available in woolies as "Demineralised water". It worked for me, but I have a different TV.

      • Will give it a go. Thank you

        • It worked for me, but I have a different TV.

          🤦

  • Any deals here or elsewhere on the Frame frame?

    • I bought one for $22 from jb. Was the red 2021 model but fits perfectly. Worst case just paint it

  • I bought the 65" 2022 model a year ago and it's an excellent TV.
The matt screen is fantastic for bright areas.
The picture frame feature is OK. By using the mobile app you can upload your own photos, but it takes a bit of effort.
The downside is the Samsung Tizen OS. It's a bit limited with apps, and some major apps are missing or don't work very well (e.g. Kayo). The solution for me is a Chromecast 4K which works flawlessly.
Overall very happy with the purchase.

    • +1

This new model seems a lot better then. Kayo app has been flawless for me

    • How does the art feature mode work with the chromecast?

      • +1

The art feature doesn't work with Chromecast. The TV switches into art mode when it's turned off and detects movement. The it displays one or more pictures in art mode.
Once it's turned on it goes straight to Chromecast and works like any other TV.

  • How to get access to the EDU store? i tried university email it comes up with an error when i try register

  • Ordered via the government store. It was a bit of a faff but got there. Thanks OP.

    • any tips? can't get it working.
Asking to be taken to a separate website/ logon to which my govt email is saying it's invalid

      • I get the same "The Email field must be a valid email.", when it is valid, @mulliganohare any advice?

  • Got one via the government store.
Thanks OP, we were in the market for one of these soon.

    • how did you do it, can't get it to work, asking to be taken to a separate website/ logon to which my govt email is saying it's invalid

      • I access it via the Defence portal.

  • Are the magnetic snap on white bezels included or sold separately?

    • +1

      Sold separately

  • Edu store and govt store not working, please explain how I can sign up thanks

  • are these suitable for bright rooms with large windows ?

  • Yes I saw that. Thank heaps.
Just wondering how to get the $100 price reduction coupon code?

    • You need to trade in a TV. Should have mentioned!

  • Has anyone tried to fit the “one connect” plug that connects with the box through a 32mm conduit?

    • That should be plenty - got the 2020 (?) version and the one connect cable is really thin

      • The cable should be ok, just worried about fitting the plug through.

  • Anyone else have this issue at checkout where it auto enters some gibberish as name and email? it lets me change the name but the email is stuck as grey and i cant edit it.

shippingAddress.email | Email should be valid

I'm getting this on multiple browsers and cant checkout. THis is for unidays login btw for edu store

    example: https://snipboard.io/xw8oFZ.jpg

    • Looks like its trying to auto-fill your password

      • It doesnt seem to be it since it occurs when I use a different browser on a different device. I suspect its to do with unidays autofilling some kind of token

        • Is there a way to sign into the edu store without using a portal like Unidays? I'm having a lot of trouble too

          • @sanur: Dont think so. If i use my university email to signup directly on samsung site it says its invalid

            • @zjz93: This is the most broken experience ever. I have .edu.au and .gov.au emails, and can't get it to work for either.
