I paid $2700 for mine a few months ago and it's worth every cent and more. $2400 is an absolute steal

Thanks, been looking out for 65" C4 deals this morning, checked Appliance Central earlier this morning and this wasn't there. I'm getting nervous now, I probably should just go with this deal, if I'm too slow I might miss out like what has happened in the past! I was kind of keen on a 75" TCL C855 but not seeing deals on that. I really was 75" but can't afford a 77" C4…. Bit worried about spending $2.4K on a TV then still wanting a 75"!

Is the JB HiFi 5% price beat a standard policy they do, or did you have to negotiate that?

    • The 5% was probably from discounted gift cards

      • Oh yeah forgot about those, there's Amazon 7% ones at the moment

      • Did you buy it online or go in person with physical cards?

    • please keep researching 75" and report back, as I too am in the market!

      • Problem is right now is go time, these are the clearance deals, after this there will be no stock. Will have to wait for months until deals on the 2025 versions. It's possible there won't be any clearance deals on the TCLs though, may have already missed the boat on that.

    • I've also been in the market for 75" TCL 855. Hopefully next week.

      • I'm worried if I hold out for that it won't come and then I'll miss out on C4 65 too, so scary haha

Save up another year for the 77" C5 when it is on clearance March next year…

      • Been waiting to buy a TV for 2 years now already haha. I originally started looking when the C2s were on clearance. So this is my 2 year anniversary, still haven't got one.

Great deal for the 42". C2 got sub $1000 but I think unlikely for the C4

      • 1150 be the next target.

        • Be careful though, I waited too long in the past and they sold out

The 83" is $4,880. Good price

    • I’d be all over that if it was a G4.

    • Wow awesome price how were you able to get that?

Called a few stores and asked how low they could go

        • +1

Could you tell us which store went this low so we can try do the same?

    • How

    • +1

Wow, nice one. You then ordered online? Confused by that part.

      • If you call up and order, they send a payment link to your phone.

  • Anybody know if they'll take the packaging and the old tv away?

Same, got the last one from my local store in QLD just now. $2150 + $59 delivery.

    • More details please. Im in WA. Do they add the shipping price?

Is it online chat ? Thanks

Step 1. Go to TGG website, put in your postcode and see what stores in your area have stock.
Step 2. Call a store that has stock, ask for the lowest price on the product, from memory my store said $2299. Mention you’ve seen it cheaper online, $2150, they will either come to the party or not. If they don’t, keep calling stores with the product in stock until you find one that is willing to do a price you find acceptable.
Step 3. Complete purchase. Organise pick up or shipping, if shipping, try to get it thrown in. When you come to an agreement they will send you a payment link for the agreed price.

  • Anyone asking for the best price on 77” C4 or G4?

  • C4 or G4 65" guys?

    • Same qn…

With discounted gift cards and also included wall mount the G4 is the way to go! I got one yesterday and its amazing! Upgrading from Sony A8F 55

    This or TCL 855?

  • Thanks OP! I'm not as good at haggling, but the local JB HIFI easily quoted $2379 including delivery (and used giftcards).

    • Local Good Guys wouldn't go below $2788 because that's a clearance sale. Then I mentioned I've seen $2400 and suddenly he can match that lol. I tell him it's appliances central, he says they won't match because they are in another state so charge $150 for shipping. Me: but $2400 + $150 is still cheaper than $2788. Him: I'll speak to the manager, should be able to match it.

Just straight up annoyed me, at least take $50 off at the start if you really can go lower…
