I have owned a PHEV for two years. I have been so impressed with the driving experience I just ordered a V8 so I can bring some fun back into my driving. We also have a diesel Everest and still love it after 6 years.

Hybrid… meh, my experiment is over and it has ensured I go nowhere near a full EV.

          • @davlloyd: Opposite for me. Wife got a hybrid and I'm sold. Instant torque, quiet driving. Next car needs to be phev or EV.

@Dice: Hybrid is good unless you do alot of short trip

              • @big kev: This is true. I have a hybrid and over the last week did nothing but very short trips. My consumption was 11L! (against listed 4.3L). Normally I average about 6L.

      • Look up how all the European car makers gamed diesel, Ad Blue, emissions and outright cheated as a group. The latter some more than others.

The whole implementation of Diesel in Europe is a scandal that only the parochial press who need auto advertising is hiding.

The switch now to hybrid is almost worse, Europe is releasing hybrid after hybrid which barely works. The worthwhile hybrid is Toyota’s

  • Ampol Hume/ACT (diesel station for trucks) sells adblue for 1.99/l, on tap :) Other states must have something similar.

I just wee in my adblue tank

    • Why?

It's made using urea. Chemically synthesised urea. But basically urea is also in urine but I think a lot less concentration than ad blue. Something like that, I can't remember the specifics.

        • +2

          The key is severe dehydration.

    • My car takes adblue but I don't add any 😎

  • Man I love owning a diesel that has DPF but doesn't need fluid or a class action lawsuit to keep functioning normally.

  • My exhaust is currently at full, do you have any blinker fluid at all?

Mate it's one or the other. You can't claim to be a Sydney business and then hide behind some bullshit "oh unless you want a warranty in which case you're in America" πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž

Shouldn't be allowed on this site. If you take a gamble on a purely online drop shipper like AliExpress it's one thing, hiding some shit in your t&c is just misleading

  • What happens in ILLINOIS stays in ILLINOIS.

  • AdBlue, a solution made from 32.5 per cent urea and 67.5 per cent deionized water… You want what per liter
Bit like Woolworths trying to sell chicken thigh fillets for $14.50/ kg. Even the deli manager was blushing when called out
