The ultras were available in store a the Gold Coast airport store at Bilinga which is the suburb the store is at .
Airport is the Coolangatta/ Tugan airport which straddles the border (Tweed Heads)

You get get a refurbished ultra for $600-700 on eBay which looks brand new and has 100% battery health, why both with last year regular model with awful battery life.

I struggled to sell my as new watch 7 44mm, no takers over $200. Also marketplace usually has a few Ultra's around the $400 mark.
People who buy these watches have no idea what the resell value is for these.

Nope, but I grabbed a few SS watches between $250 and $350 for friends who asked me to keep a lookout for. Hence why I mentioned that a few Ultra's can be seen daily for $400.

Just saying that be wary as resale value is not what you will expect and there are heaps of genuine bargains on marketplace if you want to buy
You have to keep an eye on marketplace for the ultra as they get sold very quickly at these low prices. Also you have to search at rich suburbs and be prepared to drop everything and go for a 1hr drive trip sometimes. Hence why most of my items and now from marketplace. Only few days ago grabbed an ipad mini 5 cellular with pencil gen 1 for $100 and ipad 7 128GB for $120 for my kids, both as new with genuine smart covers

Just checked and marketplace is flooded with new listings of watch 6 and 7 (guess why lol) and also found an ultra for $350 that seems a genuine listing.
With the flood of apple watches, expect some genuine bargains in next week or so
@Ebaygiftcards: The fake ones are easy to identify. First they don't put a specific suburb so map is always on whatever main suburb is e.g. Mel or SYD CBD. Second they are usually new fb accounts or old ones that have never been used. Third they ask for postage only or specify cash only. They also refuse to provide a mobile phone to discuss further. Also photos are usually generic photos from Google (use Google lens to verify). Finally they have zero or heaps of 1 or 2 star reviews.
@Azro: Usually it's a warning sign when it comes to iphones and Apple watches as there is a lot of fakes circulating.

Yesterday we picked up a iPhone 13 Pro Max 256gb for $480
I did notice the resale is very poor. I bought a S6 44mm GPS+Cellular for $320 and thought for that price it might be nice to have. But it was DOA and I wasn't a huge fan of the colour anyway. So have been waiting for a good deal to come up. Don't want to spend a fortune but I think a smart watch might be useful for fitness tracking and answering calls/texts.
I did buy a s7 44mm as new in box for $150 6 months ago for someone so YMMV. Offcourse I took a small cut for my efforts sourcing it

I thought that 2, used a watch for that purpose for a few days but it was uncomfortable and restrictive when it comes to sweating during cardio and weightlifting.
The other reason I ditched it is you cant really use a smartwatch while driving as it is considered an electronic device and gets treated like using a mobile phone for traffic offenses. And because sometimes you interact with your watch subconsciously, your watch might end up costing you a hefty fine and points.
@fozzie: Yeah me too until a mate got a warning when he was stopped for a RBT. There is no specific rule though but it depends on circumstances though and evidence

I have an ultra that is setup to my iPhone using cellular with my carrier. I just got a series 8 from this deal for my daughter. However she doesn’t have a iPhone or mobile number.
Can I connect 2 Apple Watches to my iPhone and also carrier or am I needing a complete setup for her to use the cellular part of her Apple Watch?

For JB Online, you convert the TCN card to a JB e gift card on the TCN site. Then on JB you can add multiple gift cards at checkout.
Called up my local store to check on the ultra, and they said the price was coming up as full price
2 stores said they can't see inventory on clearence item.
