      • You’re late to the party again. All gone now.

  • Received tax invoice and dispatch email now.

    • Same here. Gotta wait until Friday though as chose slow delivery lol

  • Received notifications from JB and Auspost for ultra shipped, also checked JB HIFI, everything back in stock

  • Any deals on Apple watch band

  • Ultra OOS

  • Absolutely raging, had it in my basket, went to check out. All gone RIPPPPPPP

  • Had the ultra in my cart but decided not to go ahead.

49mm is way too big for my wrist.

  • Anyone got one and having second thoughts.. hit me up… I’ve missed it 3 times now …

    • Yep same. Been checking on and off for my partner. Damn

      • I’ve refresh every hour or so but went for a meeting and boom! Missed!

    • I cancelled my Ultra order…ETA was 5 August. i'm not waiting that long

      • Mine delivery date has been updated to tomorrow. I chose TGE as it’s only $1 extra. Expected delivery was on this Thursday.

      • You do know that it’s an automatic generated date? Apple doesn’t sell this so they won’t be able to find stock… you just needed to wait until someone goes into your account and adjust the postage date

  • I'm in the same boat, if anyone want to off-load it. My son looking for an upgrade from his Samsung galaxy 5 Pro. Thanks

  • +1
    • yes, i ordered one through this page

  • Bit worried about my ultra order. Am yet to receive any tracking number or tax invoice. On my JB account order status is unfulfilled?

    • +1

I spoke with online chat today about the Aug delivery date. The watches with that date are awaiting stock at their main warehouse.

      • My order page says "There's been a delay processing your order from our store, our team members are working to get your order on the move as soon as possible."

I ordered Ultra with Blue/Grey Trail loop

        • weird. That one was back in stock earlier this afternoon. I snatched another one, we'll see if they dispatch tomorrow.

        • Same with ours. They said that's when stock is due at the warehouse.
They did however find store stock for ours so apparently a store will be fulfilling our order.

          • @scottb721: Hey mate was wondering if you had any update on your order?

            • @heisenburgshat: Yeah. My orig 6Aug warehouse backorder delivery date has been shipped today from the JB Bathurst store. Big thanks to their online chat folk for finding store stock and the store for sending it.

Just received my ultra this morning via Global Express, arrived very quickly only left Melb yesterday and arrived this morning in Brisbane.
I ordered 2.30am on the day the deal was posted.
    Thanks again OP

    • Nice how is the battery health and does it still have 1 full year of warranty coverage?

      • LOL, they are brand new sealed, so full warranty.

        • I only ask because I bought a pair of AirPods Pro 1st gen from Officeworks once and they only had 2 months left of coverage but I didn't realise until a month later :/

          • @heisenburgshat: well, you can always ask Apple to fix the warranty date. But originally, it should be showing the Orange warning that device has not been activated yet. It could be someone already opened yours and used it before returning to OW?

      • +1

Hey mate sorry for the late reply
Battery health 100%. It's been just under 23 hours since full charge and I am on 72% with screen always on.
It did come out of the box completely dead and needed a good hour of charging before it would switch on.
        1 year coverage ending 24 June 2025.

  • All gone it seems.

  • Received ultra this morning as well. That’s really quick given I’m in WA and it was dispatched yesterday.

  • Just managed to buy one an hour ago- now all out of stock. Located in WA and got order confirmation email from JB. First time posting- thanks everyone!

    • I just missed out. Added it to cart and then came up with inventory error

    • Ultra or the stainless steel?

      • Ultra

        • Is there a pattern here? What time did they release more ultra?

          • @bruceclipse: It was buried deep within the website. But by the time I saw it, it was too late

  • Just rang a store for my Series 8 45mm Graphite order I placed on Sunday afternoon, and he thinks that the order will be refunded as there is no stock to fulfil the order. Shame i was too slow to order the watch

Just unbox the ultra watch. Battery is extremely low that it displays the green snake of death on the screen. Still charging now and cannot power on. Will see how it goes, worst case I have to return it.

    • +1

That's not good. Had same issue with a S6 from David Jones, would not power on or charge at all. Returned it for a refund. Was hoping with the Ultra being a bit newer and a larger battery it will be OK. Worst case have to take it into Apple for a battery swap under warranty :\

      • Mine turned on now. Took 30 mins using a 30W brick to restore it to normal.

  • +1

I returned a 45 stainless steel graphite with Milanese band to Jb Hi-Fi galleries Tuesday arvo.

If anyone is desperate they should still have it tomorrow.

  • +1

    Order got canceled 😞

    • yep, cancel gang here too :(

    • When did you order?

      • after it came back with stock again a day or so ago.

        • Yeah, mine cancelled as well. Party’s over. At least I got one earlier for my partner.

    • What models did you guys order?

  • +1

    • Yep looks like it’s now all gone oh well

  • Cancelled. What a shame.

  • Placed an order for Apple Ultra on 24th June, and cancelled today from JB account. But no cancellation email received. No refund confirmation.

    • Could be in junk mailbox.

      • You are right, found it in spam folder. I was hoping JB will restock in 28th June but looks there is no more stock from Apple. Hoepfully JB will run the same promo next year around this time for the Ultra 2 lol.

  • Is anyone still wait for the delivery on Ultra, my order shows DELAYED.

    • +2

Yeah. Regret choosing standard Aus Post. Getting transferred a lot around Melb.. gone from Avalon, Avalon again, Melbourne airport, Sunshine West. It should have been in transit to Sydney West after Melbourne Airport so not sure what’s going on. Delivery updated to 28 Jun-1 Jul.

I’m actually surprised JB charge for shipping for small items of this value. Almost every other retailer would send for free and usually express/courier.

      • you should have chosen TGE (previously known as Toll). Only extra $1. And it's overnight delivery.

      • AP was good for us. Two day delivery from JB Bathurst to Newcastle.

    • Same, I regret picking Aus Post.

  • Have just received the Ultra watch with Trail Loop Blue/Grey S/M, still in sealed box, but now I’m having second thought on whether I really need it. Does anyone know if we can just return the product in store? And will they re-issue us the gift cards we have paid?

    • yes, you can return. Refund back to your original payment method or they can issue a new Gift card if you paid with gift card, iirc.

    • Yes you can. Also noticed a trade in site will give $690 for a brand new in box AWU so you could make a small profit if you wanted to.

I think it’s worth keeping though at this price. I am enjoying mine.

    • Thank you guys. I’ll give them a call then.

@nubzy I’ve found a website called mobile monster but I’m not quite comfortable sending my new sealed Watch to them by post. Thanks for the suggestion though.

      • Where you located, I am happy to grab it off you

      • +1

I reckon you can easily sell it off right here on Ozb, even for a small profit.

    • damn I have this exact order and mine only left the warehouse yesterday

    • +1

Thanks guys for the comments. I’ve received a couple of PMs expressing interests and so I just offloaded it to a fellow Ozber in a quick and easy transaction rather than going through the hassle of dealing with JB and waiting for the refund.

For those missing out, I’d suggest you to post a Wanted post in the Classified forums or keep an eye there as there may be some other guys having the buyer remorse like me who may want to get rid of theirs as well.

Ordered series 8 45mm Stainless steel with milanese loop on the day this deal was posted.
Just picked it up.it's not brand new, has huge marker writing of the product code on the box. And the box shows Apple Malaysia.
When i checked serial number, it shows"Coverage expired".
Wasn't expecting refurbished/open box/grey import when i ordered sth brand new from Jbhifi.
Contacted JB on phone, they asked me for some pics and said will check with the Chadstone store, apparently the store that packed the order.

Been using ozbargain for years. First time of feeling the need to create an acc to comment due to such bad experience… not happy :(

    • That’s weird. Should be unactivated when checking on Apple site.

      • Totally not expecting this when it should be brand new. Was meant to be a gift too

    • Sounds like some scammer returned a grey import back to JB

      • Dang.. was wondering if i was the only one

    • Ours had marker on all the box barcodes except one.

      • Full warranty here.

      • Isnt it weird? Never bought apple products from jb but wouldnt expect them to have huge marker writings of numbers on it
        It looks really dodgy.
It was the writing that got me into checking the serial number and inspecting the box to realize its Malaysian stock

          • @heisenburgshat: good to know the marker bit is normal. thanks for clearing this up.

    • Got negged for reporting back my unpleasant experience?

    • Showing Apple Malaysia does not determine it to be a grey import. It is normal for it show Apple Malaysia- a quick call to Apple Australia will have them confirm this (it is model A2773 for the Australian market). You purchased this from JB with a full Australian Invoice & warranty

The writing with the black marker is absolutely standard JB practice, they will often write product codes on boxes (have purchased numerous items from them with this) - once again, a quick phone call or web chat to JB would have confirmed this

Coverage Expired - if true - is something JB would immediately refund for no questions asked, if you had only bothered to contact them :)

      • Thanks for the info.
The box shows model A2775 (not A2773)…
Box was not sealed, with side flaps broken…
Already contacted JB the moment i picked up the parcel, still waiting for them to get back to me

    • Black marker is fine. My ipad pro m4 purchased 2 weeks ago also has that.

      • +2

        thanks for clearing that up
so seems someone returned a dodgy piece, not JB's fault.
although they probably should have inspected the item more properly

        • +1

Did JB come back to you with a resolution? Curious as to outcome.

          • @shake: not yet… will report back once they do.

        • given Apple now uses these paper seal, it's very easy to reseal it. I have seen a bunch of videos doing this. Apple should have kept using the plastic seal around the whole box, not just those useless paper seal.

    • My watch, also 45mm Graphite with the same band, came like this with the same model number as you with Apple Malaysia written on it, and my coverage said it was expired. I spoke to Apple support and they said that it was normal and that once I activated the watch, the coverage would begin again, which it did.

      • Wow. Interesting. Did u get it from this deal/from jbhifi too? Thanks

        • Yeah exact same deal, ended up being shipped to me from a store. Watch is all fine and Apple Care can be purchased on it

  • What are Boost users doing for the Watch's cellular side of things ?
The gf has just done her annual Boost recharge.

    • Nothing unfortunately. Your best bet is moving to one of the big 3 or buying from a supporter carrier which is only Truphone (now betterroaming) in Australia. I can’t understand why Apple does not want to give us the flexibility of getting the eSIM from a normal provider like Boost or Aldi.

    • nothing. You can either move to Telstra/Optus/Vodafone postpaid, or use 3rd party provider for watch e-sim like Truphone, iirc.
