One of the delivery option (think it was $12) was Uber. You would need to provide the driver a PIN to receive the watch. I think that option is available if you’re within range of the store to collect it from.
This inevitably means the jew watch X will be a game changer which will be v released in September and will be so different that previous versions will look really old and ancient more importantly will have little to nil resale value as it changes shape after a decade

You may be comparing GPS vs Cellular or S8 stainless steel/sapphire glass vs regular S9 aluminium models.

Don’t think you can add this to apple watches? I know it’s possible with samsung watches.
Last I checked number share/one number/etc. are only supported on select primary carrier plans (Telstra / voda / Optus) usually a $5/mth add on. In saying this I stopped paying for cellular on my watch as I found I wasn’t really getting much from it. The only time that I have my watch and am outside Bluetooth range of my phone is when I’m running. GPS works without cellular for tracking distance etc. and spotify now supports downloading songs to watch so dont need cellular to stream music.

I've always wanted a Stainless Steel one, but didn't get because of price. Great price, but still can't bring myself round to going from my Series 7 to a Series 8, particularly with the Series 10/X around the corner.
I think it's still a very good deal for the Stainless Steel model at around 46% below retail.
The Watch X will be a significant change but with a minimum +50% price hike over this deal.
Yeah, I'll just go for the regular aluminium (or equivalent) for the Series 10/X, so will probably be a similar price… trying to hard to resist the temptation on this.

This is really tempting - but looking at the difference between my current series 4 and this series 8 doesn't seem worth it.
These are deff the models to buy imo, the sapphire glass makes all the difference my series 4 is in perfect condition on the screen. Also the black tends to show scuffs less.
Edit - it seems watch OS 11 is only the series 6 onwards, so that's something to consider.
With Apple Watches, the cost of replacing the battery is prohibitive. Even if your series 4 works well, if the battery health is below 80%, then you’d save more by replacing the watch right now before it becomes worthless.
How do I know? I paid $110 to get the battery replaced. Apple wanted $169. But now, the haptics won’t work and without that alert, it is useless for me.
I consider Apple Watches are use and throw now and not worth the repair.
If you replaced the battery at Apple they would have done a good job. Pay using gift cards so knock off 10% (depending on where you get them from maybe more).

The advantage of the silver is the ability to buff out the scratches using a metal polisher such as Cape Cod. Once you scratch up the graphite or gold, it’s game over.
Probably the sports band. The graphite SS comes with the stainless steel band

It’s all incremental, but the extra battery life and better materials feel worth it.
May be a silly question but I’m gonna ask it. When you buy an Apple Watch from apple themselves. You can tell them you don’t want the band it comes with and they will discount that sports band off the price of a band that you want. I’m guessing since you’re buying from JB you don’t have this option to walk into Apple and trade this band towards a band your after? If it’s brand new and sealed?

Might be worth a try. Don’t mind the starlight band but might get dirty quickly especially as I will be using the watch for running.

Just managed to purchase a 41mm graphite stainless (1:55pm on the 24th). I had it sitting in my cart for a couple of days unable to checkout (obviously no stock), but today it worked?
