The Lenovo documentation (PDF) lists the following GPUs as supported:

      • Quadro P620
      • Quadro P1000
      • NVIDIA T600
      • NVIDIA T1000 and T1000 8GB.

You might also be able fit in an RTX A2000 with the single slot cooler mod.

  • Aww - Its got the power button switched to the right hand side. ;)

And only one USB-A port on the front.

    • They really like to flip flop with the power button location.

      The Gen3 M70q has 2 front A ports and a C. Previous they only had 1&1.

  • I have an eGPU (razer core x chroma) that I currently use with an old x280 i'm looking to replace with something like this. I assume USB 3.1 (Gen2) is only 5gbps so won't suffice?

    For a 5k2k monitor.

    • eGPU typically connected with Thunderbolt

I ran a proxmox server with plex and the usual suspects on one of these using an m.2 to 5x sata card from silverstone. Picked this model specifically for the 2x m.2 slots (one for a cache SSD and one for the adapter. Apart from being a mess of wires, it worked great (although the m.2 SATA adapter does need airflow, I had one fail because it was too hot).

Can recommend this based on the ability to expand as well as the 2x m.2 slots. Good price, I paid 330 USD about a year ago.

    • How are you mounting your HDDs attached to the m.2 adapter, assuming they're 3.5"?

    • Would love to see the mounting arrangement

  • what if I need a 2.5 inch caddy?

  • Seeking advice - would this unit and the display suggested by OP be a good light use (web, youtube, email, no gaming) replacement for a 10 year old Toshiba AIO. The Toshiba is not Windows 11 compliant - so I am looking for a upgrade? Also any suggestions for wireless keyboard and mouse that would be compatible. I am on a low budget. Thanks.

    • For just web YouTube and email I’d chuck Linux mint or Debian on the Toshiba and see how you fair. Might give you another 1-2 years which on a low budget is nice

This computer would do you excellently, not sure about the monitor, but you can probably go a lot cheaper for your simple use case

    • For best possible budget bang for buck I’d say sub $125 6-7 gen intel for Linux, or 8th gen intel for $175-$250 (and give Linux a shot anyway)

Commsec has some nice Philips 23” FHD displays for $99 (C&C+surcharge) which would do you well (but no touchscreen)

  • Would this be best bang for buck computer possible for office usage with longest longspan? Or 9th gen intel ~$150 if that’s even gettable? (I’ve seen 8th gen for $100 I reckon) hyper threading is a bit up right, so i7 pre gen 10

  • Thanks, bought
