    Lol I got 30% for 12 months

    • Ditto; bait and switch.

  • Thanks for sharing. Where do I see if I have this offer? It's not in the CBA Yello tab for me.

    • it popped up in the app and disappeared - then I logged onto the website and it was under offers

      • Thank you. Nothing under our offers unfortunately.

  • only got 35% for 12 months

Little more detail would be good.

Do we actually need to pay with a commbank card?

  • +3

I believe this offer is targeted to customers who have recently taken up a Pre-approval and then purchased with CBA.

    • Yes this might be the case

    • I am in that boat and no offer

  • +1

i got the 40% for 12 months. the code is valid till 30 june but i have used it since march this year. it still shows in my app but said the voucher claimed. i might wait after 1 july to see any further deal. from my memory, this 50% for 3 years is for new home loan. any chance the op is refinancing or taking new home load recently?

    • I've just refinanced my home loan to CBA and only got 40% off for 12 months.

      • +1

        bad luck to you

    • I got 40% off for 12 months too (as existing cba home loan cust).
Exetel increased my current plan by $10 from next mth to $80pm.
So, it's a no-brainer to move to More (smooth, quick transition too).

  • Few days ago the discount was there in the app but it's not there anymore 😕

  • 50% off for 3 years would be a deal. 35% off for 12 months is not.

Well, probably depends on their backbone ISP. Seems to be on Vocus, so… I assume PPPoE instead of IPoE?

    • not sure about backbone isp. i find the connection pretty good. maybe once or twice no network in the last 12 months. was given username and password to get it connected so i think it is pppoe.

      Vocus and PPPoE.

    • yep, Vocus and PPPoE

Just thought I'd share some experience here.

I previously used one of CBA's targeted deals with More and ended up switching early… Whilst I wouldn't rate them as bad/terrible… the speeds in real world usage were not living up to expectation. I'd speed test my connect and get the correct expected result, but then would wait for the most basic of web pages to load.

Moved to Spintel who were an improvement, but had a lot of outages in my area and then on Superloop who have been pretty flawless. However my 6 mth deal will end with them soon so I guess it's on to the next ISP with a deal (despite price rises).

    • Also had a very bad experience with More after taking up one of these Commbank offers. The switchover took several days when usually it takes minutes (FTTP). The speeds were also not anywhere near advertised. Good if you can get a cheap couple of months but certainly wouldn’t stay with long term.

Exetel is Superloop under the hood so you can get another 6 month deal there. Leaptel have a 12 month deal.

    • Glad it is not just me then. I have the same experience. Will check around but might stay with More till I find a cheaper and better one considering every dollar these days count with high interest rates.

      • Have been w/ More on the 100Mbps/17Mbpsplan and we're constantly getting the advertised speeds.

Sometimes being in high density areas is a devil in disguise.

        • The speed test showed "decent" results. But just did not translate during actual content use. Hence why I do not rate them high. I am on 50/17Mbps. Uplink never went above 5Mbps during speed test also which is not a big deal. Downlinl it shows only 35 to 39mbps during speed test

Tempting, but I can't bring myself to be a CBA customer.

50% off nbn Plans for 36 Months

Does that cover the excessive interest rates you are paying on your loan?

    • And transfer/account opening fees.

    • Yeah my 2.19% really stings.

  • +1

Just to add, 50% of base plan.. so $44 max discount ..if you take higher they discount by $44 and not 50%

  • I got 40% for 12 months offer and churned over about a month back now. Was paying $75 per month via iinet previously, now about $43 a month.

Went smoothly, can't say I noticed any challenges with streaming speeds/YouTube etc

I'm on 25/8.5 with only one user though

Recently switched from Aussiebroadband and to my surprise. I find More to be faster, reliable and way cheaper.

    • +2

I find More to be faster

I'm on a 250 plan, and every time I check the speed, it is between 260-270

      • +3

        So they're giving you More?

        • +1

          More or Less, yes…

  • +1

Using More, for around 2 months… good savings and no complaints.

  • i got 35% off
last time i attempted to connect to more nbn, I had no internet for a few days and it never got connected.

    • That would be an issue with NBNCo as they are responsible for the connections.

    This isn't just targeted.
This is SUPER NICHE Targeted. Such BS. Sorry OP, thanks for posting, but IMO, no deal, but not going to neg.
Even if you know someone who knows someone, it's next to impossible for someone out of this ecosystem to get.

Been with More for a few years now. Just recently switch to their 1000/50 plan for $81 with one of the commbank yello offers. Been great, no complaints at all.

  • The same deal was offered for free in 2022 those who got their loan settled. 50% off still worth it.

  • Can anyone provide me the link to apply? When I use my code it says it was applied but the price doesn't change

    • Code is from the CBA app

  • Thanks signed up 12 months 40% off, worked out to be $56.4 for 100/17 speed which is reasonable. BTW I read the deal is expiring 30 June if I am not wrong, so do hurry up if interested.
