  • Is the backlight just white?
Can the keys be clearly seen?

    • There is only one colour option from what I know. My Mrs has this one. $99 is a good price - if you like the key types.

      This's the mouse I got

      • How noisy/clicky is it please?

EDIT: Found this on the description.

        MAXIMUM PRODUCTIVITY. MINIMUM SOUND.
The silent mechanical switches and sound dampening foam on this keyboard offer a quieter typing experience when at the office or WFH, while its super durable design lasts for up to 80 million clicks.

Compared to my razer deathstalker v2 pro keyboard, much more clicky.

    Long-lasting Quality: Reliable Performance.

I've gone through a lot of Razer products. The reliability just isn't there. They work well for a year or 2 and then something fails.

Crappy mice wheels, disconnecting wireless devices and stuck keys.

I second this, have had to RMA two Razor mice both for the same issue, their QA is terrible and it's a pain to get them to RMA, would not recommend.

      • +1

I found their rma pretty easy. A few photos and they sent me a new mouse.

Then I ordered new switches and fixed the old one, now I have 2 razer mice.
They sit in a drawer while I use Logitech

    • +1

I second this. Developed sticky keys towards the end of warranty period. Impossible to RMA

Go with something else, perhaps real Cherry switch keyboard, preferrably hot-swappable ones

    • I'm finding the same, great when working but disconnects too often. Sometime I need to give the mouse a 'bang' for it to connect again.

      What have you switched to?

      • I'm still researching. I'm just using a basic Dell keyboard right now.

    • +3

They used to be awesome quality. I had an 18 year old Razer mouse, that is probably still working fine today for who ever took it off my desk at work.

      • +2

        ouch!

I have three razer keyboards, 4 years old, going strong.

        • +1

Yeah I have a Razer keyboard also. Probably cheaply made, but it is super comfortable and I like the yellow switches.

      • +2

my BlackWidow keyboard from 2011 still works fine till today :)

    • I totally disagree, i had a razer keyboard for more than 15 years, most keys are faded due to usage. And still working fine.

      • +2

And you can buy that KB, made like that today? Righto.

    • I second this, I have gone through 2 mice replacements with the same issue of crapy mice wheel that stops working after 2 years. My old Logitech G703 is working very well.

    • +1

I have Razer Death Adder mice and they have been excellent. Wired and wireless. Razer Black Widow keyboard going into it's 6th year.

    • Even their Blade laptops are so expensive but reliability is just a hit & miss too …

    • Better than Logitech in some of the range. Both have dud skus.

  • great price, but for pure touch typing experience, Logitech MX Keys is better.

    • +1

      Until they start double-triggering, yes.

  • TKL for life

    • +2

I use some programs that need those right hand arrow keys. It’s a pain to remap the keyboard on these programs too, so full size for me

      • +2

Same, I need a full keyboard.

      • I'm confused - what are the right hand arrow keys you speak of ? Isn't this a full size KB ?

        • +3

We're just replying to bruc3's comment where they like the tenkeyless and we don't.

Yes, the deal has the full size kb.

    • I have a Nuphy 96 and while it's not a TKL, I make regular typos due to being so used to a full keyboard (of which I still use at work). I'm at the point now that I'm looking for a full keyboard (and may buy this razer) for gaming/work purposes

  • These have a really bad delay when waking from sleep

    See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNTe_FFfk4s

  • How do these compare against the MX Keys S?

  • This or JAMESDONKEY RS2 3.0 Rosy Mechanical Keyboard ?
