    People only continued to buy RG35XX for CFW. Now that muOS has matured on the RG35XX Plus/H/P I see no reason to keep buying this dinosaur.

    I've bought about 6 or 7 of these things. They are beyond awesome to play around with. But i find myself taking a couple days to get them all set up how i want with every game i'll ever need. Then find myself spending more time trying a game for 30 seconds and going to the next one and the next without actually putting time in each game. It's almost like looking for something to watch on nextflix for 45min and then realising you don't have time to watch anything. :)

      I can totally relate. It’s probably a mix of nostalgia easily fades and the dilemma where one can have only up to 2 out of the 3: money, health and time.

      I did the same with my modded 3DS. The more games I had, the less time I spent playing games.

      In the end, I’ve mostly gone back to using original carts. Put one in, and that game stays there until it’s finished. It’s much more satisfying.

      When I do play content off the SD card (e.g. for GBA games or emulated content), I try to treat it much the same. I put the game prominently on the home menu, and only remove it once I’m finished with it. I try to keep only a few games (at most) ”front and centre” in that way at one time.

    Anyone have any experience with the rg405v?
    I have an rg35xx which I'm enjoying, but I was looking at something that would play gamecube, as it's a console I never had. Would it be okay for this purpose or should I just wait for the 505 or rg cube to drop in price.

      Maybe look at RG556, Retroid Pocket 4 Pro or RG Cube. All have been recently in the $200-$250 ballpark with various sales (first 2x on AliExpress and the later was eBay I believe). Quite a bit more than these devices though.

      The RG405M in this deal can do some PS2 but it may take some fiddling about. You’ll probably want a more powerful device to get a reliable experience.
