Cheapest deal I’ve seen for this TV. Even the refurb ones weren’t close to this price.
I think it’s a bargain for a 77 OLED that is well regarded on rtings (not as high as the LG C3 or Samsung S90C, but it has great all round performance).

Showing $1599 how you get $1520?
1899 * .8 = $1520 based on 20% RFB20 code. Looks like it is sold out now anyway though.
It's max $300 off so it was $1599. I bought one last week. The box was not even damaged lol
Snappy UI, good picture quality but definitely needs a sound bar. Even my old 15yo Sony had better sound quality:P
A bit off topic but my 2019 Sony 85" TV died a few days ago (won't power up). Any idea who might know a reliable TV technician in Sydney NSW?
Call Sony. If it’s a fault not caused by you, they should help you out under ACCC Consumer Guarantee.
They will say some crap about only 1 year warranty, just keep saying that a TV from a high quality brand like Sony should last longer than 5 years and that you think it’s failed to be a durable and lasting product.
Sony or the retailer, that would have been an expensive TV, you've still got statutory rights
I’d try the retailer first ,but look up known problems with your particular model , I have a 4k Sony that I tried to have repaired under 12 months old about 5 years ago, the tech they sent out said it was knats (tiny insects) has got in behind the screen , it looks like dead pixels , and that wasn’t covered by warranty .
I thought fair enough, I had moved house, maybe it was my fault.
Only to read a year or so later about this design flaw by Sony that was letting bugs in to sets .
I certainly would have push a lot harder for a replacement screen had I known the facts then .
Retailers will try to wash their hands off everything once they have sold something to you. I bought a Sony TV several years ago from the Good Guys, the screen developed a problem just a few months after purchase. Called the Good Guys, they refused to help (It was just a few months into a "1 Year Warranty), asking me to call Sony instead.
Go directly to Sony.
Same here - looks like the sony panel just gave up as half the screen is dark and ghosts! Although our sony might be a bit older (maybe 5+ years so have no chance of warranty)
Item does not post to you 😭
How does Zip Pay work? Do you need Zip Money because it’s over $1K? I tried Googling this and am now more confused 🤦♂️
Has anyone successfully paid over $4k with gift cards only?
Edit: Just realised the limit is $1000 per transaction in gift cards (https://pages.ebay.com/giftcard/terms_conditions.html)
Using Zip is unavoidable.
That link is to the US site. It is $1,500 per transaction on the .au site:

Thanks!
Out of Stock or 20 all sold!
Seems they realized their price error and jacked it up already! Zip Pay no longer applies either… 😫
Nice find
