JFC is an importer and distributor of Japanese groceries and food in Australia. They have 25% everything in-stock online until Monday, free shipping with $120 spend. If you cook a lot of Japanese food, this can be useful. They stock a lot of items from frozen seafood, drinks, condiments, rice and even beauty items. Large size items such as 1kg dashi-no-moto or 1kg Japanese mayo are available, as well as cartons of drinks.

Sydney delivery details

If you add some frozen seafood to your order, it's not that hard to reach $120 spend, e.g.

Hotate Hokkaido 3S 1kg Sashimi Grade (Frozen) $47.93

Unfortunately the Melbourne branch has a higher $170 free shipping threshold but they do offer click and collect. See delivery options. It's a separate site so the inventory is different too.

    No delivery dates until July… How can anyone be so organised to buy groceries so well in advance?

    I received my order yesterday (Sydney). Just so others who ordered know what to expect, this was sent to me the Friday before my scheduled Monday delivery.

    EWE Delivery
    The EWE driver will estimate delivery time by SMS only after your previous delivery finishes.

    *Please note that you can not specify the delivery time.

    They can do an authority leave for dry items only, if you won't be at home and if there is a secure place.

    *Please note even if it is stolen, it cannot be compensated.

    If you ordered a frozen or refrigerated item, we are not able to leave the boxes.
    Because the box is just a cardboard box by refrigerated truck.
    *Please note a handling fee of $15.40 will be charged to resend the parcel.

    Dry Box : Clear and Brown tape (normal)
    Frozen Box : Blue tape
    Chilled Box : Yellow tape

    Please put frozen items into your freezer once you receive them.

    PS: EWE delivery time is between 10:00 and 23:00.

    If you want to get the tracking link in the morning, we can ask the EWE delivery company. Please let us know your order number.

    On the delivery day, I received a text msg with the EWE tracking info around 2:50pm. From the tracking link I could see that my order ETA was around 6:45pm but it was constantly updated. About 10 minutes before the actual arrival time (7:15pm) I was sent another text msg to say that the order is arriving soon. The delivery person rang the doorbell and made sure items were received before leaving.

    Everything was packed well, I got three separate boxes as described in the email.
