Does anyone know if the vented dryer can be wall mounted?

    • +2

Wow why did that get negged? Is it not a fair question? It's not in the product description, what am I missing?

    • +2

If it's not in the description, it's unlikely.

looks to be the same as or similar to this one, which appears to not be wall mountable, bummer

  • can this be stack?do i need stacking kit? thanks

I can't imagine why you would spend $349 on a vented clothes dryer when you could spend $200 more for a heat pump dryer.

    • +7

If you have a clothesline in Brisbane, you won't need to use a dryer that often. So why spend extra $$ - takes a long time to catch that up on power savings…

      Vented dryers are quicker.

And a vented dryer can (generally) be wall mounted, as they're a lot lighter than a heat pump.

      • and damage clothes much quicker

Lighter and cheaper, if live in rental and expecting to move, the traditional dryer is easier buy

    • +2

Heat pump dryers take a lot longer to dry clothes.

    What's the warranty for these?

    • +1

It States it right there on the ad….

      3 years, in home.

  • Annoying, I kinda need one in the next day or so.

    • FB marketplace, can get vented dryer for next to nothing.

      • Sorry I meant the washer.

Same deal, but not quite as cheap. 18 months ago I purchased a 2 year old Bosch Serie 8 front loader from FB marketplace for $500. Yes it's more expensive than the Aldi one, but this is top of the range German made. The lady was moving to a new apartment which already had built in appliances. It was in immaculate condition.

It's been faultless. Yes it's a gamble re no warranty, but I'm happy to take the risk to get a top of the range washing machine at a fraction of the price. It washes well, extremely quiet and I'm sure it'll last.

  • Any feedback or comments on the front load washer from previous deals?
In other words, is it any good or a pile of junk?

  • I'm going to get both of this. Does anyone know if this dryer can stand on the washing machine? Thanks

  • Is the washing machine any good ?

  • My parents just bought the dyer and are returning it as it keeps short circuiting their mains powerboard.

Their power board get replace around 6 months ago (due to a new kitchen) so I'm assuming its not the issue (but haven't had an electrician come confirm that).

The old dryer still works and doesn't cause this issue when plugged into the same powerpoint. Also no other appliance in the house cause this to happen.

They could of also got a faulty one but they are not replacing it and just going to ask for a refund

I bought the front loader washing machine this week. Leaving a review for other peeps as I had trouble finding reviews. Was a pain in the butt to unbox, but seems to be running fine. The 30 minute function seems to run for longer than expected as it seems to have trouble spinning up at the end and requires a few goes if you have things like blankets. If you run it on mixed or intensive the spin at the end gets the clothes pretty dry and it doesn't require too much time in the dryer. Will post an update if it falls apart.

    • Hi Mate, any update?are youstill happy with it?

  • The link for the front load washer doesn't work

Probably because this post was a month ago and there's probably none left?
