  This store is gathering some pretty bad feedback, including a forum post.

  Still wondering if @JamesBingo's issue was resolved -

  Mine arrived…looks good but its a completely differnet colour from the pictured and advertised MAHOGANY..mine is a caramel colour and shall be going back. The negative commentary about Donner stack up.
  How is the return process? Where do you have to return to? Do you have to pay return shipping?
  Horrendous, had two e-mails offering $20 compensation to go away. Told them no - my nephew had wanted the mahogany colour specifically. They said we need to transfer it to another department. 2 days and nothing. They're full of it.

    "Gathering some pretty bad feedback" Is a bit of a stretch when all of your links are 2 or 3 years old.
    Most of the recent deals have the pretty standard feedback for a cheap Asian based store from users, except the same comment from you over and over again. If you buy through eBay, pay through Paypal and get the normal protections…

    I'm not saying they're a good company (I have purchased some decent cheap pedals from them, but that's it), but you really seem to have a bee in your bonnet about them.

  Good discount compared to normal price, but from the research I did a while back, lots of people end up disappointed in this and instead recommend spending more on an Alesis Nitro Max kit (~$799, the advice used to be to get the Nitro Mesh that preceded the Max, which was ~$650, but Max is a big upgrade over the Mesh, even if it replaced it in the product lineup).

  Complaints included input lag, cymbal chokes not registering and a mediocre drum module. If you can't afford Roland (I couldn't) most people seem to recommend spending more to get the Alesis Nitro Max (which is what I ended up getting after saving up a bit more cash). The drum module includes samples from BFD (and a license for BFD Player is included) and I've had no issues with lag. I do have a little trouble triggering the bell on the crash cymbal, but from what I've read, you can fix that by tweaking the response curve.

  Also, if you're a regular sized adult, the kit sits a bit too low. I fixed this by getting some cheap bed leg risers.

    Agreed, I am also returning it back after going through all the reviews from Customer and will go for either Roland TD-02K or Alesis Nitro max
