  • Since I can't find the manual online, can anyone confirm how this works? On my standard SL60, the clip to open the dust tray has snapped so that tray only stays shut due to being upright (i.e. gravity and friction). Will this be a problem for this dock to open it, if it does open it?

    • Contact lubluelu support, they'll most likely send you a new dust tray

It basically docks on the back of the robot and then the unit sucks dust out of that back port and up into the dust bin bag. Works very well but loud. Only goes for about 15 seconds, but wouldn't put it on at night.

    • Yep, I have mine on manual collection. When you want to fill up water or change tray it counts it as a dock.

Nice! Now I only have to empty my vacuum which empties my vacuum!

uggh,,how to get ebay plus cheap/free?

  • Im considering this, at first i wasnt too bothered emptying the vac myself but i feel like it needs to be done each time to ensure the efficacy of the vacuum

    • +1

Purchased! Is this is simple as plugging in and the robot will recognize it and start using it?

    Thanks OP!

Edit: Just realised our vacuum is white and the bin is black. Not a huge deal I suppose.

I have this but it doesn’t seem to work for dust which we have a lot of. It makes a very loud suction sound for about 15 seconds (very convincing!) but the vacuum is still full of dust and the station is almost empty with a few larger bits. Definitely disappointing.

Another thing to take in to consideration is you will still need to manually remove tangled hair from the sweepers and brush. For these reasons I manually empty and clean the bushes after each use and only use the station for charging.

    • but it doesn’t seem to work for dust which we have a lot of.

Are you using the large one or the standard bin? Did you try with half dusts full and see if the unit is faulty?

      • I don’t understand large/standard bin? I though the auto empty station was 1 size? It is working to an extent as the dust bag is capturing some things but I think the dust clump may not be dense enough.

        • I don’t understand large/standard bin?

I mean the bin with the robot, but anyway the large dust bin won't work with the station anyway.

    • Check the ducting to see if it's got a blockage.

I found that you need to empty the dustbin after every use without this, but you only need to clean the roller once every 3-5 uses.

      • No blockage. I think the dust clump is not dense enough too get pulled through if that makes sense.

    • +1

Yeah I am tempted, but much like yourself, I find it easier to just empty the dustbin and clean rolling brush myself after a vacuum. I ended up just buying the larger vacuum only 600ml dustbin since the mopping isn’t the main feature. Buying this means I’ve also gotta buy the bags, on top of the usual filter/arms/roller maintenance. Too many moving parts. Pass

only bought this and the Vac last week from Amazon, now i'm out $60 across the 2 items. I feel robbed.
both work well though compared to my very old Xiomi

    • now i'm out $60 across the 2 items. I feel robbed.

Message the seller to get the price difference, otherwise return it and buy it again.

      • Amazon won't refund, i can return but given i've been using it seems too much hassle.

        • Buy it again and return the new one under the original order?

        • Amazon won't refund,

I mean the seller not Amazon, from peope comments from last deals, they were very good on that, some got full refund without return and I got a large bin free (even never use it)

          • @superforever: thanks have tried this now, took a while to work out how to contact the seller. Will see response or do as AngryAlfred above perhaps. Although may need to self-empty station to come back in stock

      • This actually worked thanks mate, great service from them

  • How often do you need to replace the dust bag for these?

    • +1

      Once it's filled up?

      • +1

Yeah, depends on the home condition, like with pets, long hairs, carpets, etc.

    • Might have to stock up on the dust bags too

      • +1

If you look in previous posts about the robot vacuum dustbin, people have linked to aliexpress for cheaper aftermarket bags

        • +1

Just note there are 2 different auto empty dock bins. The SD80 (2 litre size) and SD85 (2.5 litre size). This deal is the SD85. I haven't seen SD85 dust bags on sale in AliExpress yet. Only the SD80 dust bags on Aliexpress, and usually sell for like $15 for 10pcs. Though the SD80 dust bags can be used … you just have to trim the cardboard guide a bit to get them to slide in. Or you can buy the SD85 bags from Amazon for 5 pcs for $15.

You can empty a fair bit of the contents manually without opening the bag, I've had mine 6 months and haven't changed a bag yet.

  • Looks like a great deal for auto-emptying robot vacuum, but I'm trying to imagine the meeting in which they decided on this brand name

    • It's probably some Chinese word translated to English and make is easy for them to pronounce. Some of these products are designed to be sold in China though. They have 1 billion people so their market is good enough.

  • Where does the vaccum go without the dock? Does ot jjst have a home point to return to? Does it require manual recharging?

    • Does it require manual recharging?

      Come with charging dock.

    • The bin is the charging station

  • Can it work older Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuums?

    • +1

      Difference brand name

  • Looks like the base price has been changed to $163.99?

    • Thats the regular price, you need to apply the coupon code.

    • Same. And coupon seems to already be added, still 163.99

  • Sold out

  • Damn. Missed it. Ordered the vac but missed this one. Now looking for deals to get this at a similar price

  • got this with the last deal… i can imagine this being good since it has really good suction, but it never really empties the canister in the vac itself. It's like the rectangle hole at the back of the back is too small for this.

300 square meter internal house footprint, and after every 2 full house vacuums its just compacted dust in the canister that's too big to go out that small hole that eventually triggers the blocked error on the dock

    • +1

dust collector is way to small, i have a small villa and need to empty after every vacuum.

      • +1

You can get a larger bin for the robot, but it's not compatible with the auto empty station.
