HP ENVY DV7-7205TX High PerformanceNotebook $1679 DSE or $1595 Price Matched at Officeworks

14

Hi,

I came across this deal yesterday whilst looking for the Envy Dv7, at the top was DSE - I'm not particularly a fan of Dick Smith and called Officeworks to question whether they'd price match, they did and took another $83 off making it $1595 which I was told wasn't far off the cost price. Have no idea how much longer they'll be at this price but thought this might be of some use for someone after a high performance laptop. I think Dick Smith have little to no stock (shock, horror) but Officeworks were prepared to match.

  • Checked my link to Officeworks was working and they've dropped their price from $1999 to the $1679, Still not a bad price though.

    Overpriced.

    • Agreed. The SSD and larger screen are basically the only differences from the DV6 that I paid half this price for a year ago.

      • and the gfx card…

but yeah it is still overpriced.

    • For the specs, I agree

Yet it still beats online store prices.

Not over priced for what we get in Aussie stores but you can import a similar or better spec laptop for ~$1,200. Is the FHD screen IPS or TN?

No criticism of the price other than it's a HP…. I have a previous generation of this laptop, and despite the dedicated graphics, the 8GB RAM and the i7 processor, it's so slow… even my Lenovo E320 will out process it with i5, less RAM and integrated graphics…

For the price, buy an iMac or a Dell AIO…

just bought the same from Dell for $1100, Dell Outlet has these NEW at $979 with Win7.!

When did Dell start selling HP laptops?
Did your dell have the same specs?
      3rd gen i7, 8GB RAM, 1080p screen, GT650 Graphics, 32GB SSD + 2GB HDD?
