Like many of you, we’ve seen the devastation following the recent landslide in Papua New Guinea. We’d like to help in a small way by hopefully giving those who need to keep in touch with loved ones in Papua New Guinea one less thing to worry about.
From 12:01am AEST tonight (Wednesday 29 May, 2024), we’ll be providing free calls to Papua New Guinea to help you can get and stay in touch with those you care about most, without having to worry about the cost of a call.
Voice calls will be free from Telstra post-paid mobiles and pre-paid mobiles either with us or one of the brands that also use our network (including Belong, Boost and JB-HiFi). Calls will also be free from Telstra home phones.
We’ll keep this in place until 11:59pm AEST on 5 June, 2024, so you can stay connected as disaster recovery work continues in PNG.
