Similar deal to the previous one in March / April and this current one - but this time it is 10,000 points and only pure Amex rewards cards. Must apply by 29th May 2024.

Offer should look like this when logging into your Amex account or in your Amex account offers like this or on your mobile app. But may not be targeted as it is featured on the dedicated page to add additional card holders

Notes:

• Appears to be only for Amex rewards points cards, i.e. not for Qantas or Velocity Amex cards. All cards eligible

• I also applied for an additional card and received the 15,000 points in April. Points we're credited to account in about 5 minutes

• I have applied for an additional card this time around as well - however points haven't credited yet - been about 24 hours. I did raise with CS - and have been told it could take up to the 8-10 weeks outlined in the T&Cs and / or end of current statement period. Regardless - case was logged.

        Sweet. I always wondered if AMEX ever tries to 'claw back' points they awarded… it's been nearly half a year and they still haven't asked me to return the extra points they credited me.

      I ended up doing 8 cards altogether for this. 80k points in my Qantas Amex account so waiting for my statement to be generated and points transferred.

      I also have an Amex explorer which I’ve done the same but have done a transfer to my velocity account of most of those points. Waiting for next month to do the rest so that I can get the 15% bonus.

        given the T&C's states: "$0 annual Card fee for up to 4 Additional Card Members", what happens regarding the additional 4 that you did?

          @reus94: I cancelled the existing ones I had, applied for 4, got them approved and sent out, cancelled them all, and then reapplied.

              @reus94: It’s weird because my second set I used a name which I had registered and approved previously. No instant approval and Amex called me the morning after to verify even with the same details. Ended up being all good.

  crap i didn't know it would work with more than 1 card otherwise i would have applied for more additional card holders ref Approved Additional Card.*

  I used the link to see if I could get the bonus points to add an additional cardholder to my Qantas AMEX Ultimate - link only shows 10,000 bonus qantas points under the qantas amex cards. Added my mum but they needed more info so i left it at that. 30 mins later a rep from Amex called me just to verify mum's ID. was successful and approved, checked my amex app and the 10,000 points was there
