      not really, some 27'' 1440p sub-240hz non-VA panels might be insignificantly faster, or have features this one doesn't, e.g. KVM.
      there's also sub $400 options for those wanting 32'' 1440p.
      without deals I don't see a significantly better monitor under around 500$.

      so this price is pretty good for 27'' 1440p

        Thanks. Don't need more features as just for a desktop. Maybe I do look at 32" 1440p for a bit more. Really then find they don't always have 144hz

          32" 1440p is the same pixel density as 24" 1080p, not really worth your time and is meant for people who have their monitor 60-100 cms back from their viewing position.

              @kulprit: I mean most of the current GPU series is sufficiently 4K capable, and you're going to own the monitor for more than 4 years, so…

              But personally I would be aiming for higher and higher refresh rate 1440p for now, we're on a road to 1000Hz as much as we are 8K (and beyond) for monitors.

      I've been looking for months and it's the best I've found for less than $350.

      I think the Gigabyte M27q has better features, and Dell g2724d has a better panel but is heaps more expensive. LG have some great models but they cost significantly more too.

      You will not. I've been watching for around 3 months and you cannot get a sub $300 monitor that is 27" 1440p 350nits+ 100hz+. The closest is a Dell s2725ds and it is around $30-60 dearer depending on sales.

    FYI: I have this monitor at work and you can achieve 165Hz if you are using display port and if you are using HDMI you get only 144Hz.

        Yes it is.
        Most of them don't to realise that even display port come with specifications. The DP2 is the newer version which supports up to single display 16K @60Hz or dual or triple at 4K and 10K @ 60Hz or 144Hz respectively.
        The latest version is DP2.1 which was released in 2024 which has resolution rate of 8K2K@ 240Hz or 8K4K @ 120Hz

        people got different desk depth and different monitor mount.
        for ppl with shorter table without monitor arms, 24'' is a lot more comfortable, other than 24'' - 25'' also being best screen size for competitive gaming.
        that said 27'' is quite a bit better for multitasking

      32" 4k is what I have had for almost a year now. it's perfect for any sort of productivity

      32" QHD is a bit too pixelated for my liking. 27 QHD is perfect.

    Looks like a great deal. Personally I find qhd at 27 slightly too low definition but 4k27 is a pretty uncommon spec.
