Go support the GWS Giants (nearly!) for free against the Western Bulldogs. Turnout must be low if they are giving these away for free!

NRL Magic Round is in Brisbane so they must be trying to get some of the Sydney audiences that would normally be at a rectangular stadium.
Swans is already sold out for Friday v Carlton
GWS have a low supporter base… AFL just trying to fill seats
Hi guys, they mentioned that children can enter for free. Could you help me locate the specific age range for qualifying children? It seems to be missing from the details.
According to Junior and Concession Policy on AFL website:
The following junior policy applies to the sale of daily public ticketing during the 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership Season:
- Children aged 6-14 as at 1 January in the current year are eligible to purchase a junior ticket.
- Children aged 5 and under as at 1 January are entitled to enter the ground at no charge; however they must not occupy a seat.
- Persons aged 15 and over as at 1 January in the current year are classified as an adult, unless they hold valid Concession identification.
I guess, it might be a good idea to create two separate accounts, to take advantage of the complimentary offer. This way, each account can secure two tickets, ensuring enough for the family, especially if you have two kids.
These two teams always have a heated contest. Ever since the prelim in 2016
Was at that game. It was one of the best I've ever seen.
Yeah. This game. Essendon vs. North greatest statistics comeback in 2001. Brisbane vs. Geelong in 2008(?). Eagles vs. Pies Grand final. Zaharakis Anzac Day. Those 5 stand out for me.
Sorry mainly meant one of the best I've seen live.
lol
AFL's glory days behind them? They need some bodies to watch the KO's and think, 'maybe I could smash an unsuspecting player out of conciousness like that one day too!'.
They just broke crowd attendance record the other week.
AFL getting desperate.
Must be feeling the heat of a sold out Magic Round.I’ve never even heard of the magic round
What the afl get in crowds in 1 week, the nrl still probably haven’t got for the whole year
Magic Round is the idea the AFL stole and turned into the vastly superior Gather Round in Adelaide.
Gather Round actually has teams from the whole country, Magic Round just has all the NRL NSW teams (90% of the NRL) going up the freeway to hang out in Brissy (the only other state that cares)Just don't talk about TV numbers hey :)
@Jessie Ryder: Is that cos no one cares enough about their team to actually go to games?
@Danstar: https://www.news.com.au/sport/nrl/the-nrl-has-topped-700m-in…
The NRL has also now got a strong claim to be the most viewed TV sport in Australia with a cumulative viewership of 93.2 million, up 2.4 per cent from the previous year, compared to the AFL’s 91 million total viewers. The figures were derived from 213 NRL matches and 216 AFL games.
@Jessie Ryder: Well looking at numbers this year, the AFL is far far ahead in both TV viewership and attendance at stadiums .
Sounds like you're a fan of both sports like me. No idea why people can't just enjoy both codes.
Hi, I am that insecure that even though I don't like this sport, I clicked into this post to try and make a comment to show why my favourite sport is somehow better than this sport I don't like.
Does tickets include free public transport for GWS game?
These two teams actually have a decent rivalry, should be a good match!
They make back their money if you buy one beer and some chips, don’t get much change from a $20.
