Pretty affordable, but not sure whether it's great for vinyl.

And Radio.

At worst, a really cool radio! And it just happens to also play vinyl records?

Does it give out a warm sound to bring back memories of grandpa's gramophone?

    • +2

Sure it does, just in it's own Aus Post sorta way?

  • +5

    Built in speakers too?

Sounds like a bargain to me. I can't get a smashed avocado and toast for $59 delivered nowadays.

    • +1

      I sure think so!

      • +2

I bought one for on the back deck. I'm sure it'll prove to be one of my finest Ozbargain purchases.

        • +1

Thanks, new to the community so that means a lot. Let me know how it goes?

        • +1

Buy one for the front deck and garage too!

          • +1

@hardya: Perfect! Let me know how it goes?

        • +1

I'm interested to know what the sound quality is too.

          • @Ham Dragon: Will have to follow up with someone here.

          • +1

            @Ham Dragon: It's vinyl…

          • +2

@Ham Dragon: Static and distortion gives an authentic vinyl sound, brought to you by your audiophile Postmaster at Australia Post

      AM/FM Radio too!

      • +1

        Cassette tape?

        • +2

I don't think so, but for $59 dollars and free delivery. Not a bad deal

        • +1

          8 track?

          • @smartazz104: Haha no 8 track or VHS …

    • +1

      I think there's a 13.3 percent cash back on over $75?
So about 10 dollars added on if you wanted to buy something else?

  • +2

Now I can actually go out to a few op shops and buy some 78s. Haha

    • +1

Haha for sure, grab a heap of old vinyls with the savings!

    • It will be like $0.50 each..

      • Sure, but again. Just go to your local opshop

        • Any bargain?

          • @HolyCr4p: Personally I haven't bought any yet, but everywhere I've been there's 80s music for pretty cheap maybe 2 dollars each

  • wouldnt play a vinyl worth $20 on this.

  • I think it's a good deal though

    • How much is rrp?

      • Not sure, but for similar they are about 80 to 100

  • +3

Half decent turntables are much more expensive, I'd personally save my money and wait for a deal on audio technica AT-LP60 or the 120 model.

These all in one units are often pretty craptastic. You'd most likely need a decent pair of speakers to go along with them.

Agreed, but yeah idk it'd be great for a party or a bedroom prop or something.

  • +1

this would be great to play all your tay-tay records on… and all your other LP's that you don't care for their longevity!

    • +1

It's all good man, we just don't think it's financially responsible to drop 2k into something right away?

      • +1

all good bro - personally i rock a vintage pioneer turntable from 1978, cost me $100 on gumtree - if you have some kind of amp/stereo already you may find a decent deck is not as out of reach as you may think!

        • +1

Nice! Im still looking into it. And I do have an amp. So thanks for the feedback. Have a great day bro.

    • +1

Good for DJ to make scratchy sound from spinning record

  • +1

One day I played Black Sabbath at 78 speed

    • Seve… Uh.. and then what happened?

      • +1

        I SAW GOD

        • +1

You. Saw. God. Well that sounds like true enlightenment to me.

  • +1

Looking at the first picture this thing is so small the records don’t fit inside the cover

    • Yep would rather buy something 2nd hand on Gumtree from 20 or 30 years ago. It will be full size & possibly made in Japan.

  • -1

    Vinyl. lol

  • Features:
    3-speed /45/78 RPM
    Belt-drive system for quiet operation

Who writes them ads for Oz Post?

  • +2

I really don’t recommend anyone buy this. Spend a little extra time and money finding something that won’t destroy your records and that will sound great. I mean, do what you want, but I can’t not say something when things like this get posted.

    • -6

It's still a good deal though, nonetheless for the price.

  • Don't actually use this for any records worth listening to
