if anyone is um-ing and erh-ing. Edifier make godly speakers in comparison to logitech and altec. For price vs sound quality.. they sh[drop it like it's hot]it all over other brands in their price range.
Is this better than the logitech Z506?
I got the Edifier S550 (changed from logitech) and it definitely sounds better to me. I like that they use wood to build the speakers, feels like I get what I paid for :)
is it possible to hook these up to a TV & xbox 360? I regrettably sold my Z5500's a few months back :(
I have Edifier M1380's and they are hooked up to my bedroom tv and sound amazing for the price ($70 from officeworks a few months ago I think). I just have a 3.5mm to RCA adapter ($2 or less off eBay) and it works great!
Can I ask where did you connect it to the TV ? Did you just connect it to the headphone out jack of the tv?

I had some of the logitech ones when they first came out, didnt last 2 months. Might have been ok for a normal speaker use but no good for music
