Not to bad a deal for a 4070 Ti @ $997.62.
doubt it, I think a lot of games are more GPU bound than CPU.. But happy to be proven wrong..
only reason i ask is i bought this setup used a few years ago so i dont even really know how old it is.
Should be fine to run games over 60fps but if you expect to run over 150fps or even more, I would consider upgrading the CPU + Motherboard.
It definitely depends on the game too. Something "sim like" (eg anno 1800, skylines) will likely bottleneck on the CPU.
that's still somewhat of a "modern" cpu, at 1080p you'll experience some bottlenecks with games like cyberpunk 2077 but 1440p and above resolution you'll be most of the time hitting a gpu bottleneck
is my cpu to old to run good games if i were to buy this?
