One of the lowest prices I have seen for a 7500F which is basically a 7600 without iGPU.
Have bought for a friend a few months ago and works absolutely flawlessly although you may need to update the bios depending on the motherboard you're using

Careful from buying on AliExpress lots of dodgy silicon chip sellers. Can't verify this company but just do your due diligence

      • I have purchased one of these for a friend and it's been working well for 4 months so far. Also, Cpu-Top is one of the biggest sellers of CPUs on AliExpress so should be trusted although you should always be careful.

          • @maverickjohn: I looked at a photo of my friends CPU as well as photos of the 7500F online and none of them say "Diffused in Taiwan". Good luck making a fake AMD CPU that just magically boots in an ASUS motherboard. Closest thing they send you to a fake CPU would be the wrong CPU or a bad chip

            • @CHUNITHM Luminous: Fair enough. I just read the article after @Gotboost message below. And yes you are correct around the removal of diffused in Taiwan. Apologies for the earlier comment. If you can verify that these are genuine and reliable it's probably worth putting your experience in OP at least you have first hand exposure

      • The 'Made in Malaysia' markings will remain, though. Earlier this month, news emerged that AMD has removed all markings that mention that its chips are manufactured in Taiwan from its consumer Ryzen 7000 desktop PC processors, a move largely thought to be a reaction to demands from the People's Republic of China.19 Jan 2024

Really please show me fake amd cpus on aliexpress? You cant because its impossible to rewrite id codes on the die, their written at time of manufacture, and cannot be written over.

Its people like you with no clue that perpetuate these myths.

      • I've read up online that they have received dodgy cpus that won't turn on have problems with them. My concern was to alert others to do research. @ipodvideo said he purchased from them before for a friend and it was fine. So asked him to update OP to reflect the same.
The issues are out there just read up others feedback in some tech forums

        • Again show me a report on an aliexpress am5 cpu in last 12 months ? Anywhere, lots have thought so only to be pleasantly surprised every time

          • @Wayne7497: The ones I read were the older series not am5.
I'm happy to delete my comment if you think it's not warranted. Like I originally mentioned it's important to do research before committing as there had been cases in the past.
Anyway the point is now moot since the op confirmed he has used them before and is legit.

    This work on msi b450?
Is this psu plug and play no drama?

    • +2

This is an AM5 CPU not an AM4 like on a B450 board

      No.

  • I haven't checked but usually Ali 7700's in particular are a great deal. They sometimes come with retail packaging.

    • I did find a few for around 180 USD with 05CD20 although they are mostly all tray

      • +1

That to me seems like a better deal when considering the local prices

I bought 3 ryzen 7 7700 recently, put 1 in my main pc and its running great. They were about $290aud each

      • yeah I read your forum post. what are you doing with the other two?

  • Got mine for $202.42 paid with Bankwest.

  • How long do these normally take to get to AU?
Estimated shipping on the page is May 29th for me, but do they normally stick to the estimated timeframe?
From my experience on AliExpress, not all sellers do.

I ordered one last year from this seller and it took around 10 days I think. Usually they have these really long delivery times to cover them in case its actually delayed

      • Ok cool, thanks for that. Just wanted to check so I know how long I have to find a deal on a decent motherboard so I can test it within the 7 day replacement period.

Just received my CPU today, looks legit. I will get it set up over the weekend and report back. Any good utility tools to verify authenticity of the CPU?

    • +1

It's authentic just wanna use a stress test to make sure it's a good unit. You can run something like CPU Z with its built in stress test.

      • Thanks for the prompt reply. Will try that when I have it running.

Just checking that this processor was released in July 2023 and the mobo I am going to mate it with is Asus ROG B650E-I, and the firmware came with it is 4th August 2023, therefore, safe to say that this mobo should be able to power it up with no issues/ need to USB flashback with the latest version?

        • Should be fine but since your board supports usb flashing anyways shouldn't be a problem.

          • +1

@CHUNITHM Luminous: Happy to report that this CPU is a legit deal. Thanks OP. Running so far so good, had to bios flashback my mobo to the latest.
