Kicking off from 5pm AEST on May 1st is the latest AliExpress Choice Day sale with these coupons. These coupons are supposed to be for Choice items only, however in the last sale they were working on non-Choice items for me.

Choice Products are shipped directly from the AliExpress warehouse and typically arrive within 2 weeks. If the delivery exceeds 14 business days you're able to claim a coupon and if it's not delivered a full refund after 30 days. Most of my recent Choice orders have arrived within 7 business days.

Coupons are 1 per account, do not stack with the new user 'Welcome Offer', "Limited Deals" and minimum spend excludes GST and shipping.

Discount Min Spend Coupon Code
$3 $29 05CD03
$8 $69 05CD08
$20 $169 05CD20
$30 $239 05CD30
$50 $369 05CD50

Oh man, I just put through a couple of orders that probably would have qualified if I'd combined and waited…

    I'm sure I'll find something else…

    • +1

They run these start of month sales well… Basically every month.

That said, I've noticed our old friend Jack (Not Jack Ma, Jack from eBay) usually swoops in with a visit when coupons are active anyway and makes everything below the middle coupon seem pretty meh to me.

      • I've seen this posted for the last two months. Fingers crossed another one comes up at the end of the month because I have an itching to spend the $550AUD or so to get the max discount.. ๐Ÿ˜…

    • +10

I pretty much build my wishlist until one of these sales pop up and then order the stuff I actually want. Works twofold since I have time to think about what I've added and save a bit of money at the end of it.

  • +16

Every 1st and 15th of the month they have this.

Always wait until those dates to buy stuff from AE

    • +3

I wonder if this is because they prefer users buying in bulk/many items to ship all at once. Clever

  • FML I bought a android headunit yesterday for US$250. Should have waited.

  • +7

I ordered an item in January waited a couple of month and it never came, thought Iโ€™d be patient and wait a few more weeks. Now I canโ€™t even get a refund it says I didnโ€™t apply in time

this has caused immense suffering, I lost $3.22 and now I feel robbed, Iโ€™m going to have to go dig a hole and lick my wounds for a whole week before I go buy something else off aliexpress, I simply wonโ€™t stand for this kind of injustice

      • I would have preferred burrito tbh

    • +1

What was the item, please post a link?

      • Iโ€™m not sure that would be kosher, they know my deepest darkest secrets, not even Google has this info (or so I think)

    • +3

I forgot to claim one too (bought last November), also about $3. Anything dirt cheap with free postage from AliExpress have high risk of reaching Australia, handed to local delivery company, but that delivery company does nothing. I only buy cheap items with choice delivery guarantee.

I did raise cases for another two items (never received). AliExpress' item not delivered / received is annoying. It gives the sellers about 1 week to respond. Most sellers won't respond until 1 or 2 days before AliExpress is about to rule, and they will send a proposal of not refunding you anything (and ask you to wait). You then need to decline that offer.

      • Iโ€™m pretty sure it wasnโ€™t even posted, I bought 5 items together, 2.seller canceled, 2 I cancelled, this one I had high hopes

sometimes the tracking info is false, I disputed one item before seller was Uber mad cause tracking said it got delivered, but and finally aliexpress revealed the real info item wasnโ€™t delivered, much lols

      • Just got a refund from Aliexpress for non-delivery in exactly the same manner.

I found price in temu is cheaper for some household items and ar accessories.

  • Just experienced my first missing package (Vivo X100 Pro screen protector). How do you apply for a refund when it gives you this message after clicking the returns/refund button: "Refund can't be processed right now. Order in transit. If the tracking doesn't update, you can apply for a refund."

    • Completely off topic…but I just read your comment with a soft Aberdeen burr resonating through my brain. :)

  • Seems to be a new scam on aliexpress sellers are marking items " collected by courier " when never been sent hence cant open a dispute.

    • When did you order and how long has it had that status?

      • Ordered 9th April expected due date 26th , but nothing allowing to open dispute, no tracking number just says collected by courier. Seller admits never sent it says open dispute even though he knows i cant. Refuses to refund. Got both assistance from aliexpress which was useless

        Been that status since 10th

Used PayPal so won't lose in long run..

        • You should be able to initiate a dispute still. When you go into the Order Details there is a Returns/Refund button.

A very long time ago I was able to get live chat to initiate a dispute. I'm not sure if that's still possible.

          • @Clear: No doesnt appear cos of courier pickup , so its says shipped but actually in too ship

    • fake tracking

      • ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ‘‹

  • I'm after a CPU.
Over $300 from the top three big sellers on AE.
How can I check if it qualifies for this offer now?
Or do I just wait and see?

    • Are the CPU's sold under the "Choice" banner?

and as long as you meet the minimum spend.

      • Ah, I'm not sure what this choice banner looks like.
One is from JS-Computer Store. The other seller is SZ CPU Store. I can see that they're marked with Big Save but that's about it.

        • Drops to $443 au before tax with big save so probably 470ish shipped

Mine cost $472au shipped from cutesliving I bought on the 15th April last sale

BIG SAVE is banner to look for

          • @Wayne7497: Currently $520 shipped, so if it drops under that, to your price of $472, I'll bite.

Tonight midnight, I'll be staying up! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

            I'll look up cutesliving too.

Edit : I see the choice banner now, it's in addition to the other banners. So Choice means it's sold by AliExpress rather than a global seller.
Since you've bought from Cutesliving, I'm buy from them too.

            • +1

@Lord Ra: More accurately Choice means the stock is with AliExpress but the seller isn't AliExpress themselves. The exception is AliExpress owned stores, i.e. Cutesliving and Factory Direct Collected. Hence why their prices can be so much lower.

              • @Clear: That's really good to know, thanks for making that clear, @Clear. ๐Ÿ˜…

It's kinda like what Amazon forces other sellers to do. Use thier warehouse space and ship by Amazon rather than overseas /drop shipping. I hope cutesliving doesn't jack.

          • @Wayne7497: Guess what mate, @Wayne7497

Just checked my cart for the 7800X3d from Cute. This is the error message:
"This item is no longer available: it is temporarily sold out or the store discontinued selling it."

Jokers. I hope it comes back in stock at sale start.

  • +1

All the items I have in my cart, the prices are all jacked up

    • could it be due to USD AU exchange rates?

      • 110% if your exchange rate is set to anything other than USD (which doesn't fluctuate).

        • Ohhh ok thanks.

  • Hi Rep/Clear,

are there any deals for Portable Monitor?
2 weeks ago, you posted some great deals but I missed them.
Thank you for your contribution so far.

  • +1

Does cashrewards tend to track when you apply choice coupons on aliexpress?

    • +1

Always as long as the item is affiliated.

  • +1

$50 coupon worked on a non-choice item for me. Thanks!

  • I've got total item cost of $79.89 and all are CHOICE but when applying 05CD08 I get:

Your order amount, after discounts and excluding shipping fees, doesn't reach the minimum spend requirement for this coupon code. Once you reach the minimum spend requirement, you can reapply this coupon code.

    • What's the US$ price ex GST and shipping?

    • Got the same issue. But when I went to the home page and clicked on the coupon button to redeem - it successfully applied then. Best of luck

  • Trying to use 05CD03 and it said "For security reasons your request can't currently be processed"

    • +2

      Have you made multiple accounts?

      • Nope only one account

        • Try going into the Choice sale page and clicking on the coupons there as it "adds them" to your account so they'll auto apply.

          • @Clear: No sure, didnt work in my account, create another account and it worked.

  • +1

I think it's an amazing sale today, I am seeing a lot of discounts on Choice items, plus with the coupon codes it's even better!

Another thing that I noticed is: I added one of the choice items and another one a non-Choice item to make the minimum spend and the coupon applied successfully.

    • Yep the Super deals in the app are really good too. I'm trying to make all my purchases through cashback while I'm still in the country.

      • Yep Super deals are great too! Only if there was a way to search within the Super deals, that function doesn't seem to be available in the app.

Where are you off to Clear?

        • Business trip to ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ตโ˜บ๏ธ

          • @Clear: ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Find bidet deals while you are there ๐Ÿ˜œ

            • +1

@batrarobin: I'll spend a good amount of time browsing Yodoboshi for the ultimate Toto bidet to import.

  • Any nice Chinese watches to look out for with this sale? Really enjoying my Addiesdive Submariner homage I got last time.

  • Is it normal for the coupons to not reduce the tax? I'm being charged on the full listed price rather than the price actually paid.

    • +1

Yep. Excludes GST and shipping unfortunately.

      • Assuming Aliexpress pockets the difference then?

  • Your order amount, after discounts and excluding shipping fees, doesn't reach the minimum spend requirement for this coupon code. Once you reach the minimum spend requirement, you can reapply this coupon code.
Both in USD and AUD. I never have luck with this stuff.

    • So the price before checkout in USD reaches the minimum spend? Excluding GST and shipping.

      • I figured it out. One of my two items were missing the CHOICE logo.
User error. Lots of price jacking and pulling of the product that I was after.
        Good deal otherwise
        Thanks Clear.

    • I've hit the minimum before tax and after any discounts. Shipping free. Still the coupons don't work. Had to spend USD86 for the USD69 to work

  • How long are these codes valid for?

    • +1

8 May 4:59pm. They may get exhausted earlier.

  • "Coupons are 1 per account" - thus means of the 5 coupons I can only use one once and not each of the five coupons can be used once?

    • +1

5 coupons one use of each.

      • I used one of them again on a second account today.

        • Don't create too many accounts.

          • @Clear: I already had this one, pretty much dormant, from some time ago. I've got a third one, almost unused too.

Strangely, I actual got order updates and confirmations on this second account - on my main account, nothing, ever.

  • highest two donโ€™t work for me

  • -2

Prices are dodgy and keeps changing. USD80 at cart, USD90 at checkout once a coupon is entered. And that's total item costs before tax and shipping.

    • Has anyone encountered this and can explain why entering the promo codes increase the price? Lot more useful that down voting when someone shares their difficulties utilising a deal. Aliexpress customer service was no help. And it still shows a lower price at cart.

    • Could it be the GST? It's only added at checkout.
I used the 50USD coupon a week ago, no price increase after entering the coupon.

  • trying to claim a coupon, its stuck at restocking. anything i can do to fix it?

    • Create a new account?

  • +1

For security reasons your request can't currently be processed

    every time, why?

    • Not working for me either. Created a new account and still didn't work.

  • Done. Funny finding extra stuff more than $5 to save $5

  • Are they about to give out new code soon?

    • +2

Should be the first week of next month. Only other upcoming sale I can see is for a new poco phone.

      • You reckon it'll come again end of this month? ๐Ÿ˜

      • Fingers crossed. Does it make cashback ineligible though?

        • Next month is supposed to be a big one. AliExpress/Store coupons won't make cashback ineligible unless the product is unaffiliated.

          • @Clear: Next month as in a few days? I AM SOO KEEN..

  • "Choice Day Summer Carnival" coming May 29-31. "Top Shopping Spree" June 01-07.

Supposed to be able to preview from today.
