  • Ahh how to find stores with stock?

  • No stock near me Western Sydney

    • Apparently 2 in Parra, you can grab it.

      Not worth my time tbh

      • Ahhh bit too far from me haha

        • +1

haha yeah its about 20 mins for me but then i don't want to order $50 worth of stuff for boot pick up. Also I know from experience that if they don't have the stock in store, then its over lol. So not worth the headache for me

  • My butt thanks you Mr Prime Minister.

  • +1

    Lets go Amazon

  • +1

  • I've just OzBargained the Mullumbimby woolies. Got 5 of them. Pretty sure plenty of people use tree leaves here anyway…

    • IS there a limit to how many one can take?

    • +1

jeez save some for the rest of us brodens.

  • +1

After COVID I started to use catalogue and junk mail delivered to my letter box to wipe my a$$. Even this morning I used a how to vote leaflet to wipe up.

    • +5

We rarely get catalogues delivered to our letterbox anymore, have to use digital version. Going through phones like you wouldn't believe, not very absorbent.

    • Do you use glossy pamphlets

  • +1

Got 2 from local store, still about 10 left, it was stacked at a corner. not attracting too much attention.

    • Just 2? If you'd bought all 12 you probably would have attracted more attention.

    • +2

why the downvotes for this comment. Ozbargain is weird lol

  • +1

Ivanhoe Vic said in stock but can't find one. Don't bother… Lessons learnt.

  • -4

Plenty left in my local store…

  • Went to my closest 'in stock' store which was 15km away. Got told they 'just sold out and they went quick'. Crap! Bought Sorbent 32 3-ply for $8. Worked out 1c more per roll.

  • +7

This is a clearance price from a job/bulk buy from approximately a month ago. Stock would have been scarce even before this further price drop.

  • Got x8!

  • This is a great price for those who got

  • +1

I just went into my local which supposedly had stock an there's no evidence they ever had it.

What they are flogging are pallets of half price Sorbent.

Sounds like Bait n Switch to me

  • no stock in perth

  • -1

Anyone know how many packs can be stacked without crushing them?

    • 73

      • +1

Was considering 80 thanks that saved me.

        • do you live in a silo?
          .

  • +1

Woolies ended up giving me two of the 24 pack 3 ply as it’s OOS. Works out to be the same at $5.75 for the 24 pack

    • I think it's unlikely. When first posted Woolies site was showing the price but not long after it was removed so I'd say the Amazon bots won't pick it up.

      • They didn't removed. It's just that your store is OOS already, you were too late.

        • You still see a price listed? Stock checker is actually saying my store still has stock (though they dont). Whether I'm logged in with my store selected or not I only see a listing without a price.

          • @bamzero: It's all OOS now, but I still saw the price at around noon.
I bought 5 pack to reach the $50 min spend for online order.
And I saw the whole C&C room is full of toilet paper.
            So it gone really fast.

            • @AsukaST: Oh well, either way Amazon not going to be matching it.

I got a couple of packs this morning., left a few for the next OzBargainer.

  • Sorbent Family Pack, 3ply, 180 sheets, it's $8 for 32 rolls, so also 25c/roll if struggling to find Quilton stock. Plenty of stock in Coorparoo

  • Ordered four packs this morning, went to collect in the afternoon.

They must have ran out of stock so they substituted 1 pack of 48 rolls for 2 packs of Sorbent 32 rolls. Effectively bringing it to $11.50 per 64 rolls. Pretty happy with that!

  • +4

I find that Quilton has two 3 ply brands . One for retail in shops which is really good. But Amazon Quilton feels like 2 ply rough. And retail shops Quilton 3ply now feels like Amazon Quilton 4 ply. Has anyone experienced this? I think retailers are now reducing the quality of the product they sell these days to price beat.

Also woolies has the 3ply 48 role as new. Maybe they are giving the crap Amazon product

    • Funny that. I said that in another thread and I was laughed at.
I prefer amazon product actually. I used to always buy the coles one however feels like they rip easily esp after ripping a big one.

    • Agree with your comments about two 3 ply brands and have experienced this as well.

  • Thought the toilet paper frenzy ended after covid. Seems not!

  • +1

I'd mark this as unobtainable. Went to one woolies showing 4 in stock but the staff couldn't find them. Probably hiding them for themselves. Waste of time.

  • Thanks OP I bought some

  • whats the price per 100ss ?

  • Hmm. Completely out of stock on lower north shore (syd)

  • +1

No stock and haven't seen any.
