Ditto. Been there, done that and it’s pointless. Would make more progress educating the dog. Have a great week too. Cheers

You’re spot on. Tune out the noise from the ignorant masses

Cheers mate. I’ve never been one to compromise correct for “easiest to understand”. Any moron can work out a discount. However, if…

Lol. A downvote because you’re wrong. Reality hurts sometimes - live with it and learn from it
03/09/2024 - 10:48
Your maths above for your example is also incorrect – if you pay 90 for a 100 value then the benefit is 10. Therefore the net return is…

Sorry but you’re incorrect. I have supplied the correct computation above.
03/09/2024 - 09:04
Unfortunately this is also incorrect but is commonly miscalculated. The actual correct maths - for a $250 card - and ignoring additional…

capslock is correct - it’s a BONUS 2000 points so you also get the 105 from the original purchase
22/05/2024 - 16:16
The logic you use is close but not actually correct. For example, for the $100 card, the correct way to calculate the % is: $110-$105 = $5.…

Thought the toilet paper frenzy ended after covid. Seems not!

$50 off a $5 Coles card. Nah, just kidding. $49.90 less than that. On track with expectation.

2.38% no thanks. Stocked up with $35k of cards in the recent $100/200 2000 points a little while ago, but even that deal wasn’t a great…

Thanks OP. Can swapback-purchased ebay gift cards be used as the payment method for this deal?
26/12/2023 - 12:17
Your percentages are the only correct ones here so far Bii 👌

Cheers, yes 5/110 is the 4.545% so neither I nor tooblue was correct as 4.76% is the correct answer. Back to High School maths for all of…

Thanks, but 5/105 still isn't 4.545%
06/09/2023 - 08:27
Yes, as I said above $100+$5 which equals $105. The discount cannot be 4.545%
06/09/2023 - 07:51
How did you get 4.545%? The net cost is $100+$5-$10=$95. The value is $100. Therefore the discount is $5 which on $100 value is 5%.
