Great price for a great cam with spotlight and solar which will tick a box for anyone who can’t or doesn’t want to hardwire.

Just be aware of the limitations of these cams, namely continuous recording is limited to 30 seconds and recording takes 5-7 seconds to commence after the IR sensor detects movement and the camera boots up.

    I would be keen to get this, but would be a deal-breaker with that delay.

      my personal experience it takes less than 2 secs to wake up and record.
      
      for a fast moving car of 50km/h, there is an issue but for general household use to detect person and animal, they are quite capable of doing that.
      
      a triggered 30 secs video of low resolution will also take less than 30 secs to upload to cloud.

  Is that for this camera? My dad has a Reolink Go (needed something fully off grid) which records immediately when motion detected, although it may take a short delay for him to be alerted as it's located somewhere with patchy reception. I'm looking at this camera based off his experience.

      In his case it's for a off-grid place in NZ (no wifi, solar power only) where the gate is ~2km from the house - so a Reolink Go with solar panel and 4g SIM card has worked wonders. I'm somewhere a lot more suburban just triyng to find an option that I can set up without drilling holes in my rental to run cables, lol.

  Yeah I saw that reddit post. There is no reason at all to go with the Uniden versions at over twice the price of the OEM.
  
  Reolink Lumus has also now been upgraded to 2K and full AI detection and is currently $76.55 compared to $143 for the Uniden rebrand which is only 1080p and no AI.
