finally, both myself and husband missed this one last time…not sure why we both didn't get it as it is a regular for at least one of us. I didn't get it again, but my husband did! Great!

    • same, couldnt get this offer more than a month, finally get it this time.

      • I missed this time as well as last time

    • +1

I used to get this offer all the time, but not any more, don't know why:(

  • +4

    Oh FlyBuys hates me :(

  • I’ve got a theory… since I turned off auto-transfer to VFF 9 months ago, I’ve no longer received any 2/10K offers. Anyone else in the same boat or otherwise? Trying to determine if there’s anything we can attribute to these now targetted offers.

    • no, I didn't get it last time and not this time as well. I don't auto transfer to VFF. I usually get them like clockwork….sometimes $60, $60 or $70 spend per week. My husband didn't get it last time, but got it this time. Who knows how they decide this. Last year earlier in the year I didn't get it for about 3 times in a row.

    • I turned in auto transfer to VFF last week and just opened Fly Buys and do have this offer, but I havent had any transfer over yet so maybe that doesn't count?

      • What is auto-transfer to VFF

        • It's the option to have your points automatically transfer to Velocity Frequent Flyer points

  • +1

ugh nothing this time :l time to not shop at coles for a while haha

  • $110 spend for me but lets be honest, thats not hard to achieve each week

    • +1

My offers are $340 in one shop for just 3,500 points. Household are high spenders but afew decided to strike against woolies due to some Australia Day fiasco so now flybuy offers are reduced lol cries

      • Well considering you were rich enough to buy $1000 of gift cards the other week … I'm sure you can afford $340 of groceries this week ;)

        • I didn’t buy gift cards though? But aside from that my offer is just not worth it most times now! Ah well!

          • @Edamamme: Ah you must have had some big groceries bills then. If you strike for long enough (~3-6 months) they will come back down eventually.

At one point my offer was like spending $240 for 4 weeks in a row, then went down to $50 for 4 weeks in a row.

            • @rekke: Yeah! Ooph 3-6 months, probably have to start telling family members how much Woolworths love them lol!

              That’s an impressive reduction!

    • +3

yea, couple chips and soda water will do

    • +6

I just wish they were like the Woolies offers (of the spend $x per week) whoch are valid over multiple shops within the week

      • Completely agree. Stock levels in both supermarkets are shocking. One store will have half of your weekly shop, the other one other half. If one's lucky.

    • if you get 2 new cards, you will get 2 x $50 4 weeks for 10,000 points, so to spend $40 less(in 4 weeks) and get 10,000 more points, let's be a a true ozbargainer.

      • lol, would love this to be true, but I didn't get it last time nor this time. My husband didn't get last time but did this time. It is always the luck of the draw who and when will get it. Before that we would both get offers. His usually the $50, mine could be anywhere from $50-$70 pw

        • If you have more cards circulating the offers then you should always be 'targeted' one way or the others

          • @SnoozeAndLose: True, but Flybuys requires SMS two factor authentication for many things these days, so one would need an active phone number per card.

            • @Miroslav: Does it say you need an unique active phone number per card?

              • @SnoozeAndLose: I haven't tried registering a new account using the number tied to mine.

You need to enter SMS codes sent to you to access various parts of your account: points activity, redeeming points, changing personal details, even viewing offers if you have not been using the account on a particular device in the last 30 days.

Also have get 10% off your next $50 shop, ends tomorrow.

    • I got this too

    • cannot stack as 10% for <$50 shop, then with 10% making it max $45 shop then it's not qualified for weekly spend (>$50)

      • You can always spend little more.
        Valid uptown $500.

      • Not so sure about that. I had spend $70 or more for 2000 points. Bought alcohol for $72 with 20% off and got the points within 48 hours. Too risky to try on the 10000 points deal though.

Also, if you do an online order for $50 or more and some items out of stock, Flybuys will still honour the deal. Can be automatic or need to contact them.

      • My weekly spend needs to be $70, I used the 10% code today, so I had to up the spend to take this into account.

What I don't understand is that it said 'Offer valid on purchases up to $500.00 only'
It still only gave me $5 off and not the 10%, do you think the terms were incorrect, and it only gave the discount on the 1st $50 spend?

  • got the last offer but not this one.. probably need to stop shopping at Coles lol.

  • +1

Finally got the $50 deal, the Coles holy grail

  • +5

I have 2000 FB points with $70 minimum spend plus this offer so will stack it in week 1.

    • +1

      Same, winning.

    • +1

been ages since I got double dip deals like this

  • $60 spend for 4 weeks for me.

  • +1

Just finished this offer and was offered it again. FANTASTIC!

    • Same. Pleasantly surprised!

  • What are the dates for Week 4?

    • Week 4 - Mon 05 May to Sun 12 May 2024.
Apologies, was a typo earlier and corrected it now

      • All g! ty

  • Got 10% off $50 shop and 10,000 points for $60 spend x 4 weeks. Helps to shop at Woolies then switch to Coles when these come around 👌

    • COLES
      10 days left
      Collect 10,000 bonus points
When you complete a $60 shop at Coles each week for 4 weeks.

      Week 1 of 4: Fri 12 Apr to Sun 21 Apr 2024

You have 10 days in week 1 to shop in-store or online.

Eligible online orders must be placed and delivered or collected within the weekly dates to qualify.

  • Urgh I misclicked and did 10k points instead of $50. Rookie mistake.

Guess I have too many points can't claim enough $10 offs 😂 guess I may have to go the Gift Card route.

    • +1

i prefer the 10k points, good for when they do the 10% back in points offer for the gifts card in the rewards

      • How often do they happen? I'll keep an eye on those.

      • I chose points first place because I feel good with number (current 43,666) lol then kinda regret after knowing it's $10 offs but ok now.

Imagine without the bonus points to reach so many points are impossible for most.

    • +8

The 10k points is better because:
      1) it still can be used in the equivalent of $50 off a shop
      2) you don't have to use it all in one shop
      3) can transfer the points elsewhere if that's your thing

      • +2

2k points / $10 off a shop at Coles unlike at WW

    • +7

I think 10k points is good option over $50 as point can be converted to flybuys dollars having same $50 value.
But if you choose $50, it will be deducted from your next shopping and applied as discount, which will reduce your invoice value.

For e.g. let's say you have an offer on $100 spend 2000 points, and you buy stuff worth $110 to be eligible for the offer, but as $50 offer balance is deducted from the invoice, your spend for the transaction will only be considered as $60 ($110-$50), which makes you ineligible for this offer and you won't get 2000 points for this transaction.

I always select points over $ amount, and convert it to Flybuys dollars

      • -1

I always picked $50 because it's easier to save $50 than it is to save $10 off 5 shops. I get a bit self conscious doing 5 separate checkouts in the self checkout during peak hours 😅

but I did just see that I can just convert them to gift cards so it's functionally the same thing. Just annoying extra steps.

        • +3

I think you can use all the points at once from memory. Just load them on to your flybuys card. You don’t have to use them over seperate shops as far as I’m aware? Unless there’s something I’ve missed.

          • @dealbrry: I actually did not know this. I thought it was only the 1000 > $10 off discount. Will keep an eye out.

            Thanks (also thanks @hothot)

        • +2

You can use your Flybuys card as a payment card. Swipe and enter pin as you do with any debit/credit card (no tap & pay)
Just convert your points to flybuys dollars, and you can use the full amount to pay as you pay with any other card. No need to wait for $10 off in each shop.

So basically, if you choose $50, it's applied as "discount" in your next shop, while it's considered as a "Payment" if you choose points and convert it into flybuys dollars and use your flybuys card to pay.

          • @hothot: Both method has same $ value, so it's up to individual preference, but choosing points is better option in my opinion

        • if you choose $, you will need to spend over $50(at least $50.01) to use it, where as if you choose points, you can convert to $50 flybuys dollers which you can pay for any value to earn points instead of $

    • I always go the coles gift card option.

Pay for $50 of groceries with a gift card = 50 flybuys points
Pay for $50 of groceries with flybuys points = 0 flybuys points

  • +2

Anyone finding the app always glitches when showing offers/balances?

  • I haven't received any kind of offers for ages and feel like my account has been ignored by Flybuy.

    • did you keep scanning your flybuys when there is no bonus points promotions? if yes then Coles will rarely target you as you are their loyal customer

      • I had been told that too, so I scanned my flybuy maybe once in several months just to let flybuy know I was still using the card. However, that didn't work. It seems like all of a sudden the card was ignored by flybuy forever.

        • I had one card like this and I am only using for gift card purchase

  • Didn't get offer last time and think I've missed out again.

  • Got it last month $50, 4 week spend 10,000 points, just checked the app and got it again $50, 4 week spend 10,000 points but it’s a push for me to spend $50 a week.

    • Same. I usually just go into a dead store in the avro to hunt for mark downs. Then I run out of freezer space. It’s $50 off of about $210 each time, but if I didn’t do the quest, I would probably only spend $100, which saves more lol

      • this guy quests

Third time in a row at 4x$50 spend, what is this beautiful sorcery. Opal topups make this so easy to do. I have had auto transfer to VFF on since last early last year, datapoint for @JoeyJoeJoe

    • Thanks, will re-enable and see how it goes.

  • +1

I havent seen any boosted offers on Flybuys points to Velocity points for long time. Still waiting for that offer so I can transfer all my flybuys points.

  • Got Spend $70 x4 for 10K like March's offer At least its not $90 or $110 like it used to be

  • Going purely by experience in inner Melbourne as a shopper that pops into Woolies and ALDI too - unless the household spends $50pw+ on groceries anyway, don't know how much savings come out of this. Negligible I feel, with all the jacked up prices at Coles and how your shopping will be limited to them for a month. Plus likely to buy crap you don't need just to meet the weekly threshold.

    • Aldi - can't be bothered having to stand in the the long queue and I'm not sure how much saving thay actually offer, if anything I end up spending more with those damn special buys which aren't that special anyway these days.

Woolies - feel is expensive than Coles but yes I pop by here now and then too.

Coles - simply my go to cuz of flybuys. Yes, jacked up prices so is everyone else so not that far off. I think just needs a bit of planning, I tend to stock pile necessary ones if and when I get these offers so I don't end up spending for the heck of the offer. Think spreads / spices / flour / frozen / pantry - all will stay good for quite a while so will be easy to meet these purchase.

in saying that, I only use these offers when spend required is within my usual spend anyway - for ex: $50/week would be an average and so easy to meet and I would take it up vs. the offer I got spend $70 and get 2k points - no thanks.

  • made a huge mistake by not checking ozzbargain for this.

I thought I wasnt being targeted and literally just converted my points into dollars the day before this offer appeared. so its appeared now as $90 spend instead of $50 which I got twice previously.

just fyi maybe if you dont convert into dollars you can get $50 spend for a third time in a row.

    • after waiting a week* I thought I wasnt being targeted

    • +1

I got this offer for $50 spend twice before, still haven't converted my points into dollars, but still my new offer is for increased spend of $80, so not sure if this is the criteria.

  • I used to get this kind of offer, but not recently

  • After failing to complete the last couple of four week $140/$190 offers and one off $170 and $220 offers, they have finally lowered me to $120/$170 a week.

  • Week 1 - Fri 12 Apr to Sun 21 Apr 2024???

Since when are there 9 days in a week.

    • +3

The first ‘week’ is always a week and a half.

    • Allow more days to get people then half the people are disqualified by the end of week 4 xD

      • I've never been disqualified but the Easter Sunday closures nearly ruined me

  • I used to but now never get flybuy offers, literally zero whereas get heaps for woolies. is ir a targeted thing based on my purchases or is coles just shit. I probably shop there once every fortnight more or less

  • I got the email too but for $80 spend.

  • +1

I find I miss them To. what do is still shop at coles. Don't use your fly buy card for about 3 weeks and bang they appear
Incentive to get you you back to coles

  • I have a question, I got the offer if I spend $70 for 4 weeks.
I have another code for $20 if I spend $50.

If I do an order for $70 and apply the $20 code, do I still fit the eligibility for week 1?
I didn't know if they look at the price before or after the discount code.

    • Nope, you need to spend $70 to qualify

  • last night I clicked 50 off and it gave an error, today I clicked points and it shows 50 off, any way to change it?

  • Finally got a decent run! Just finished a 4 x $60, also got the 10% off the $50+ spend and just got another 4 x $60. Happy enough with that. I generally only spend $50-60 a week anyway.

Prior to this I have had nothing since Christmas. And it was a few months before that without any decent offers either.

  • I got $50 last month, this month $70

  • I activated and shopped in the 1st week. It's now week 2, is the offer still supposed to be showing in the Flybuys activated offers?

Not showing up on mine. Don't want to continue shopping if it means they didn't track my week 1 purchase.

    • It's not showing for me as well even though week 1 is tracked according to the paper receipt.
But I guess even though it's not displaying the offer of still on and it will get tracked

    • Can’t see on mine either 🙄 Not shopping if it doesn’t show up.

    • I think I have found the problem, I spent the required amount on week 1.
I had to spend $70 which I did, my order shows this but when I download the invoice there has been a loyalty discount bringing it under this amount.

I won't continue with the next 3 weeks, check your actual invoice, as you may be the same.

      • Mine wasn't discounted, total spent was over $60 and tracked in terms of Flybuys points for that amount too.

Based on what everyone is saying, the offer is no longer showing on their Flybuys either.

    • Same here, spent the required amount plus more but not showing up? Be nice to know if its still an active offer before I go and spend another $100

  • I just checked mine, I spent the required amount in week 1 and it isn't showing on the app.
