Where is the bargain? I paid $1.70 a couple of years ago.

    • 45c off (13%) according to price history

This stuff is like $10 a packet in the US! Couldn’t believe it when I saw the price!

      • Really? when was the last time the Yankees got ripped off?

  • $2.65 a year ago

  • I bought this for $2.29 in Jul, 2022.

  • You won't get cheaper these days

Love these comments. Obvious Delorean pedallers trying to convince you to travel back in time 5-10 years to save a buck on curry paste.

      <cough> you rang?

  • Um I got the exact chicken curry paste for $3.19 at the asian store just last week. I guess you save 19 cents each but if no Amazon Prime, then don't bother.

    Paid $2.29 on 12/07/2022, where's the deal?

    • +2

You will never pay that price again. Look at the last year price chart on camelx3.

Why do people insist on comparing prices before the inflation spike and after it?

        Because I love an OzBargain

    • My brother in christ, we are in 2024 now

    • Your dole cheque is higher now though don't forget.

Waring - The rendang is good value, but the laksa has shrimp paste.

    • May I ask you what's wrong with shrimp paste ?

      • -1

Tastes like $%#t and smells off.

  • How do these compare to say patacks for taste/quality. Not expecting the world here but are these worthwhile for easy midweek family meals?

  • There are brands and this is not a bargain

  • +1

This one is alright but their rendang has become my go-to curry paste for beef and chicken (and potatoes).

  • Tom Yum soup turned out pretty good except that I keep forgetting I don't like Tom Yum soup…
