I have no clue why this model is being discounted and in particular only the medium size. In fact, I bought mine a week ago when the sale price was $149 so it has dropped even further since then. The mouse I received was new and undamaged.
Do your own research to see if you'd be happy with it as Zowie is known for being a conservative company that doesn't push the envelope when it comes to tech. But in short, this is an ergo mouse with an older sensor and more weight compared to its competitors. But in return you get reliable performance and fantastic build quality. On release it was considered overpriced for the lack of cutting-edge tech, but at this price it's well worth it. The EC shape suits palm and claw grip and is highly rated and inspired many clones. The charging dock as the receiver is a great addition and feels much nicer to use as opposed to plugging in a wire to charge.
