Wow, this is a great deal.
"Made in Britain"
So England?
Lmao good one
They seem to have come and gone from my local.
Always smart to carry one in the car.
Can save you a lot of money, or someones life.
Not sure a 1kg will cut it for that purpose.
Better to have a Fire Extinguisher and not need it, than have a fire and have no fire extinguisher. Regardless of the size.
Thats OK, I'm sure it will.
I've used probably half a dozen of these on various track day 'leaks' on mates cars.
Unless the entire car is ablaze, these are great (and if it is, it's already a write off).Lol, who negs reports of saving someones car, and or life?
Come on, own up.@MasterScythe: Have a poz.
I’ve used the same size extinguisher to prevent a bushfire when a transformer on a power pole sprayed sparks into dead grass on a 40°C day.
Sure, if I was a few minutes later the extinguisher would have been too small, but the slip-on unit was at least 15 minutes away and right place, right time meant the extinguisher saved bushland and hours of work.I’ve also seen them used a couple of times on 4x4 trips, small engine fires were extinguished before they could become major.
I only bought one years ago but it didn't work. Lucky I tried it on a neighbors flaming wheely bin to find out it had no pressure and was still in date. Nothing came out when unpinned.
Did the pressure gauge show it in the green?
Staff at my local (Qld) said they haven't received stock yet. I wonder if it'll turn up eventually
will this put out fire
