I bought the $9 Kogan STB including delivery, but discovered that it cannot program weekly recordings, only daily and one-off recordings! Check the specifications before you buy!
This is a HD STB. Whats the problem with Western Digital drives compared to other brands that make them unsupported?
If I had to make a guess? The 'Head Park' so called feature, of green and blue drives.
Red and Black should be OK, if you forced me to guess.
Timeshift is a great feature for the price. Our $40 Dick Smith one works great but would be totally brill if it had timeshift.
Kogan's postage is $16.42 to Melbourne.
Postage costs convinced me not to buy it.
Bought something similar on Ebay instead for around $24 delivered.
