Nexus 7 32GB for less than $290, so who will buy this?
Can't believe the Galaxy has a slower processor and is lower rez too!
Defn would rather get the Nexus 7. (Unless expandable memory is very impt to you…)
The way I see it is that Google will eventually destroy all its Android Alliance!!!
Lol what makes you say that? Though I'm sure other manufacturers like Samsung are trying to develop their OS as quickly as possible and wouldn't be surprised if Google would license Android after 5 years.
Well, with the release of Nexus 4 for $299 and Nexus 10 for $399 in US and given the specs, I dare say other Android Alliances will probably either lower the price for existing products or release new models with better specs for the same price to compete. In this case, their profit marging will become much lower for their higher end mobile phones because they can't make money from selling the apps (only Google does). That's the problem with several companies sharing the same ecosystem. Just my 2 cents.
True. Also Samsung already had OS which was not successful.
I hope not. I don't like the plain boring look of Google stock roms. I would take Touchwiz or Sense over stock any day of the week. Does google have the equivalent to Siri/S-voice?
According to this video the answer is yes…
http://www.youtube.com/embed/pHuoDqcIyqk?wmode=opaque&autopl…You know you can change the launcher with any of the multitude from the Play Store to something that suits your tastes more. If you root your phone, you can theme every aspect of the look and feel. Or you can change the ROM to something quite different like MIUI. The good thing about Nexus devices is they have a foolproof unlocking process direct from Google. Google Now is sort of Google's equivalent of Siri.
