Cheaper at https://www.jw.com.au/product/edifier-2-0-active-bluetooth-s… with pickup at Bankstown, Blacktown or Castlehill.

Even CentreCom is $349 with a lot more pickup options for other states - https://www.centrecom.com.au/edifier-s1000mkiii-20-active-li…

    • I noticed this too, but shipping is a whopping $40 for me from CentreCom, but only $15 from MWave, so works a bit cheaper.

Just FYI for those like me who are not anywhere near a pickup.

  • I am using the 1480 pair for my computer in a small room. The quality is great

I was thinking of getting the S2000 as a TV speaker in the living room.
    This S1000 seems much smaller.

      get the S3000 Pros.

These are incredible as tv speakers. If you have the space, a big jump up over soundbars

        • Yep I upgraded from the S1000MKI last year.

      • This hurts. I missed all the specials on these (S3000 pro) for so many times and now they seem to be on that 800-1000 range.

        • I bought it from Amazon last year at about 7xx.

I've had these since 2021, using them with an LG CX, connected with an optic cable.

They have a strange loud crackle with really bassy notes it seems. I can't quite pick what exactly causes it, but it's from multiple sources (PS5, Netflix, etc).

For this reason I don't recommend them as I've never found any solution to the problem.

FWIW I also have these and am connected to PC via 3.5mm jack and I've never had this problem you describe, they have been really solid.

It sounds like your's have a defect, did you contact Edifier about it?

Definitely should have reached out to edifier about that.

  • How does this compare with model MR4.
