Do they contain any nuts ?

Hi jv, whilst these particular Cookies do not contain nuts they have been mixed and baked in ovens that have had contact with nuts, as a general rule we if you have a nut allergy, best to avoid them, sorry.

I'm surprised he's not allergic to himself. :P

  • From their website: http://www.mrsfields.com.au/images/PDFs/nutritionals_2010.pd…
"Serving sizes may vary by individual store. Product manufactured on equipment that processes tree nuts and peanuts." I would assume by that statement if you had a nut allergy then you would not want to indulge and spend Halloween at your local emergency room.

    • nah, that's just a disclaimer…

      i'm asking if it's in the ingredients…

      • If you end up in er with a room full of drunk injured Halloween zombies, would a photo of this be eligible for the ozbargain comp?

      • So you just don't like nuts?

        • Or maybe he wants nuts.

          He is nuts

        • Good point!

  • When is Halloween ?

    • Next Wednesday

      It doesn't happen in Australia.

      • That's what I used to think, until the kids started turning up more and more each year, expecting lollies…

        • Yeah, I have to remember not to eat all the lollies in the house on that day…

        • Some may think I'm a kill joy but if I buy lollies for my house I expect to eat either myself or my family/friends to eat them. Not random kids that live near me yet I've never met.

  • So what's with the "trick" bit?

All the spam you get if you sign up for the offers.

While I don't agree with the importation of this largely American marketing exercise, I am a weak, weak man so expect to see me lined up at Sydney Central Plaza store waiting for it to open. Oh, the shame, the shame.

      • thanks reddragon I'll let the team there know to expect you :D

Oh sorry, I should have also said there is NO TRICK - just treats! :)
    enjoy!

Unless you knock on JV's door during Halloween. :D

Thank you Mrs Fields. I would like a free cookie fresh out of the oven and ridiculously over-sized. Maybe the one that fused itself with another cookie while cooking.

  • Pity it is pick up only. A free ship would reach so many more and make better use of the sites selling potential. I don' even know where the shop is.

  • hi MarkB4 if you go to the website you'll see all our stores listed - there are 28 across Australia currently.
Our signature soft baked cookies are baked fresh every morning in-store so shipping (which usually takes a few days) is a little diffucult for you to get the best soft baked experience.
