Yes, cheaper stain at Bunnings but Haymes is where painters shop and they are Australian owned and made.
Buy from here if you want better quality and to support an Australian business.
Discount applied in cart.
Shipping was $15 for me but it's free if you spend over $150.
I went into my local Haymes recently to check the tint colours in person (never trust colours on a screen!) and offered to buy a 4L can on the spot at the sale price. She said I still needed to order online and select click and collect. Frustrating. Having said that, the advice and customer service you get in store is worth the extra effort and cost imo.

I just used this on my deck, good stuff. Don't worry about using the deck cleaner if the timber is in good nick. I did a sugar soap wash with scrub brush, pressure wash and a really light pole sand. Came up really nice

Can vouch, Haymes makes quality stuff.
Used this on the kids exposed cubby house deck a year ago. 3 coats. Still looks good, no peeling or fading.

Also, shop around. My Haymes supplier has an everyday price of $98 for 4L of Dexpress compared to the RRP $130.

My whole house is painted in Haymes and have been happy with their products.

Not a fan of the Dulux group and some of their overrated products. When you're at Bunnings, most of the brands are subsidiaries of Dulux trying to trick you that you're buying a different brand. Just keep that in mind. Eg Walpamur, British Paints, Porters, Cabots etc etc

  • Can confirm, would use Dexpress over any of the Bunnings Sh*te any day of the week.

  • Can’t seem to stack with 10% first order code.

  • Can this be applied to the wood posts at the facade that's always exposed to the sun? And should I apply the clear weather seal on top of the stain? Thanks

    • Use Uvex instead, generally find it more hard wearing, only comes in satin though vs Dexpress in Low sheen

  • How often are we suppose to re stain deck ?

    • +1

Supposed to yearly. Realistically, every 30 months or so.

    • stain does nothing more than add colour. you should do regular maintenance and varnish your deck, this depends on how much direct sunlight, usage etc. every couple years as a general rule
