  • do you have any 3kW inverters? mine died, and need to replace it

    • I purchased a goodwe 3 kw hybrid brand new in box for 600 from a warehouse in Sydney not sure if they ship. No complains so far except the max continuous load it takes is 2300 and surge around 3000 watt.
So look around and you may find one cheaper

      • You have the business name?

        • Sorry Mate,I reached them out through Facebook market place advert.have checked the seller profile and can't see anything up for sale atm

  • Let me check…one moment please

  • We can also get:
Goodwe GW3000-DNS-30 however no stock until March
FIMER UNO-DM-3.3-TL-PLUS-SB-Q would need to check stock if interested
Fronius Primo GEN24 3.0 would need to check stock if interested
Fronius Primo GEN24 3.6 would need to check stock if interested
Sungrow G3 RS 3kW Single Phase Solar Inverter (2 MPPT) would need to check stock if interested

    Thanks

  • pretty standard price tbh

  • Thanks…please Google….lowest competitor $1750 + $100 shipping

    • $ 1485 with free shipping from local wholesaler,

but in saying that that particular unit is discontinued also

      • Okay, thanks

      • Can you provide a link of that price? Also, a link of this product being discontinued as per the Goodwe Australia website this is still very much a current product. Thanks

  • I have 6.5kw solar panels at home, which generates ~35kw in a day. Is there any way to do some calculations to realise full the cost benefit of having this installed? Thanks

    • Thanks…you would really need to look at the pdf file specifications of this inverter and go to an electrician together with your current setup to exactly calculate the cost benefits

  • Do you have Goodwe consumption monitoring smart meter 3 phase compatible with GW10KL-DT?

    • The GW10KL-DT must be an old model as not on the Goodwe Australia website anymore….you would really need to check with Goodwe Australia…so far I believe the Goodwe GM3000 could work…Thanks

    • +1

The HK-3000 might be of interest to you.

  • Thanks…let me check

  • How much it cost in labour to do the replacement of existing inverter with this one?

    • Thanks…sorry, I'm not an installer, you would need to call solar installers to find out their rate

  • The GW10KL-DT must be an old model as not on the Goodwe Australia website anymore….you would really need to check with Goodwe Australia…so far I believe the Goodwe GM3000 could work…Thanks

  • What is this? essentially a 5kw inverter/battery all in one unit? Whats the battery storage amount?

    • keen to know this

    • This is an inverter that is capable of charging a battery. Does not have a battery.

    • lol…as if.
10 seconds of 'research' would tell you it doesn't come with a battery.

      I have a bridge i could sell you however……

      • I'd actually had a crack at it, but couldn't understand the information in the link. Sounded too cheap to have any storage capability, but I'd read on the website:
        * 100A charging/discharging current
        * 5kW UPS functionality back up functionality

        On the spec sheet:
AC Output Data (Back-Up) - on the spec sheet on the link, with varying VA numbers/Amps/Voltage

Glad you're a master of everything. Next time I'll go the usual OZB way of buying it, installing it, then starting a thread about why doesnt my battery charge.

"Glad you're a master of everything."

Funny, I didn't ever claim that, but thank you if you think that way…..

Most people (including me) at least have an independent look at things to get facts and comparative pricing.

Googling takes all of seconds to find info about most things….including product data sheets.

It's just laziness and being gullible asking these types of questions.

          • +1

@Price Jack: Data sheets are useless unless you know what you're looking at, which I'd actually looked at prior to posting my questions - I dont know what I'm looking at - Hence my commentary about the UPS functionality, 100A charging/discharging current and AC Output Data (Back-Up). I dont know much about electrical works, but know that a UPS provides limited power backup, discharging is self-explanatory and AC Output being key as I know solar is DC until converted to AC.

To someone that doesnt know a lot about electricity, this seems like a perfectly plausible question.

        • Maybe this helps:

          4.6 kW Charging/discharging Capacity
With up to 100A maximum charging/discharging current, GoodWe ES series can charge batteries with 4.6 kW power at once.

<10 ms UPS-level switching, Declaration For Back-Up Loads
GoodWe ES inverter is able to supply a continuous 4600VA output or max 6900VA in less than 10
seconds on Back-Up side to support backup loads. And the inverter has self-protection derating at high
          ambient temperature.

          Thanks

    Thanks…no, it doesn't have a battery

The GoodWe ES series of bi-directional energy storage inverters can be used for both on-grid and off-grid PV systems, with the ability to control the flow of energy intelligently. During the day, the PV array generates electricity which can be provided either to the loads, fed into the grid, or charge the battery, depending on the economics and set-up. The electricity stored can be released when the loads require it during the night, including inductive loads such as air conditioners or refrigerators. Additionally, the power grid can also charge storage devices via the inverter. An all-round intelligent system for maximum energy flexibility.

  • I got the GW5000-ES-20 to use with my DIY 48V battery setup.

The GW5048D-ES is an older and less capable model that is probably at EOL.

  • Anyone help with difference between MS G3 series and DNS G3? I have two solar installers quoting one and the other.

  • For once the MS G3 series is 3 MPPTs, the DNS G3 series is 2 MPPTs
