    Yes, You will need an electrician but if your lights are dimmable and your switches are the standard clipsal type then you can remove the existing rocker switch and put this in its place.

    Yes, they work as repeaters, yes 2 will fit side by side. Generally, people use Z2M, which does not require a cloud connection.

  What is the difference between the smart plug and the smart plug v2? Have a few of the V2s and they seem to work well but are large and block neighbouring outlets.

  It's just a different manufacturer. The functions are the same. We had some faulty units in the V1, so we have changed manufacturers to ensure reliability.
