Not as cheap as deals non-USB versions (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/882445) or the previous Crest Big W deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/777536) but seems like an OK price for those wanting basic 5V USB ports without needing another socket.

As always with these smart plug deals I suspect YMMV. Just had my Crest w/ USB stop working recently; luckily Big W refunded me without fuss even though it was over 12 months. Try my luck with this one.

  Any idea how to connect a thermometer with this plug? I’m currently using Meross but they don’t sell their thermometers anymore.

    Home Assistant would be one option maybe? Just have the plug turn off/on depending on temperature for example

    You can control and even set schedules for USB and AC individually.

      That's pretty good then. The Crest one has independent always on USB ports, probably omitted from the power measurement too, granted I didn't need to control the USB so it didn't matter.
