Saw this in Coles waterloo. Nestle Dolce Gusto by delonghi at $119 and 16 capsule pack cost $6.40. Seems to be better than Aldi Expressi considering the Nestle brand.

Beware that the 16 capsules are included with 8 coffee pods and 8 milk powder pods
Not compatible with nesspresso pods. I prefer real milk in my coffee so just buy the capsules that have 16 coffee caps without the white milk pod. so overall I think this is better value than most capsule machines. It does cold drinks as well and is hotter than most capsule machine like Aldi which is great.
Interesting post! I own the wonderful Map Coffee Machine; does anyone know if the Nestlé Dolce Gusto capsules work in the Map Coffee Machine? I have the Bella machine version sold in Target, Harvey's, Good Guys..
doubt it as the map capsules have inbuilt filtration compared to the rest
I bought some friends one as a gift this weekend. The one at Coles is manual, HN and Myer are Auto. Manual means you have to flick the switch to start dispensing and flick it back to end…which I kinda like becuase you have control over the strength,
Coffe was the American cup - actually not bad. Was hot and it has a 1500W motor/pump whatever.
Pods are reasonable and since there are many other stores selling them as well…I would say it's a safe entry level choice. Makes Milkshakes as well for the kids.
I'm not a coffee drinker, but I'm curious as to how expensive these are to run.
16 capsules at $6.40 = 40c a cup of coffee. How does this compare to a standard coffee machine?
Kogan currently have Ez-press Coffee Machine with External Milk Frother on sale for $139 (save $40.00) plus $16.42 for delivery.
Is this compatible with the standard "Nespresso' Capsules?
