From Christmas Crackers to Boxing Day Bangerz - here's a deal drop like nothing we've done before.

Our pre-Christmas decks are cleared and these systems are scheduled to ship from early January onwards, as suppliers with whom we've arranged this stock deliver and we produce. We anticipate strong demand and your patience is appreciated on these highly sought-after cards at these prices.

We have limited quantities of the new MSI MAG Pano M100R case in both black and white available as upgrades on certain builds (it's MATX so not compatible with the builds that have ATX motherboards as standard below, nor ATX motherboard upgrades (X670/Z90 if present)). They are arriving throughout January in batches.

Another new option is the 220W Deepcool AG400 Air Cooler in black. Great air cooling performance for chips like the 7800X3D, and RGB to boot.

And, the return of an old friend…

Before anyone asks, GPUs are not available in bulk/without the PC - separate shipping to protect cards in transit is fine. Due to projected busy-ness, unassembled shipping is also not available, nor is component packaging - despite our previous best efforts to help folks out ultimately we would just rather avoid issues in production and disappointment.

+1 for part call outs, and title and deal formatting

    • +2

All high tier at the moment. Not sure about budget systems as yet

      • I'll throw my hat in the ring too. Hit me up if you end up reaching a deal on a cheap system post boxing-day / pre-new year's. I'm after something to replace mum's aging PC. She does a bit of gaming, but nothing too extreme. A system like that would be perfect at the right price.

  • +1

Can I ask when do this Boxing Day deal end?

    • +2

Luke mentioned in another comment that it lasts until sold out.

      • Cheers.

    • Just ordered the RTX 4070 Ti PC (with a few component upgrades) for my nephew.

  • just ordered RTX 4070 Ti PC for my son. Hopefully it arrives soon. Thanks Luke.

    • Thanks!

  • Hi Luke,
Could the motherboard be upgraded to one with 4 dimm slots for the Intel Core i7 13700F | RTX 4080 Gaming PC?

  • Awesome deal on the 14900kf box considering the price of 4090s. Finally pulled the trigger. I did write a request with the upgraded 64gb option “If possible can I have the 2 x 32GB RAM sticks? Looking to upgrade in future to 128”.
Is this something that might be accommodated? Thanks for the sweet deal!

    • +1

We'll do our best for you!

  • -1

How can I get the price the same as the link? Thanks

    • +1

Use the codes in the post

    • +1

      ??? Aren't you associate?

  • With these deals is there an option to remove the GPU ?

    • For shipping after testing yes, for a no-GPU build, no.

  • I cannnot apply the code for i9+4080 deal. Can someone help?

    • They all work, make sure you're going through the link in the deal

  • +2

Seems the 7800x3d deal isn't very good, relative to the i9 deal.
When everything except platform is made equivalent (i.e. onboard wifi, AIO, etc), 7800x3d costs more than the i9???

  • +2

Will you have something somewhere between 900~1100 in the near future?

    edit: made it more straightforward

  • +1

Just purchased a RTX 4070Ti with few minor upgrade.(Fan cooler and RAM) - ( Will also prefer a Gigabyte 4070Ti if available. )

Thanks OP for the great deal. Just over the last few days I have been watching closely on several deals and this one ends the battle in my mind.

I like how this is already a 80+ gold PSU and a 1TB SSD.

    • Great, thanks!

  • Very happy with my i9 4080 Black Friday build - seems to be better value. Thanks guys, turned out great.

    • +1

Is it reasonably quiet under load?

    • Great to hear!

  • Hello,

I purchased the 4070 TI Boxing Day deal today with some upgrades but forgot to select the windows 11 option (it’s selected Linux).

Does anyone know if you can add windows 11 to a pc build after payment has been made?

Or is it possible to get windows 11 installed from Linux OS if that works?

    Thanks.

    • We provide instructions on installing Windows with the build. Or, yep you can email [email protected] and we can issue an invoice for the OS.

  • How come no DDR5 for RTX 4060?

  • +1

How good are these PNY cards.. especially for long term reliability wise..
And, what is the best way to add wifi without the expensive mobo upgrade.. GPU going to block the pcie slots..only option is usb wifi dongle, are they any good.. thanks

    • +3

PNY is middle among GPU brand names. Been around for a number of years, so far seems quite reliable.

There is also option for you to add USB WiFi adapter. The WiFi mobo upgrade of $310 is too expensive, so I chose the AX6 WiFi adapter instead.

  • Hi Luke, I ordered the 14900k 4080 build with GPU shipped separately. Will this come with the 16 pin 12VHPWR adaptor in the GPU box? I understand that the supplied PSU supports this without the adaptor but I plan on putting the GPU in another PC. Thanks!

    • +1

Thanks! The GPU box will have the adapter that comes with the card. All PSUs we're using have native PCIE 5 cables so that will be in the PC.

  • Will this deal still be available on the 29th?

    • It will be live until sold out.

  • Just noticed that you said on the 8/12 deal post that you'd have something available under $1k for boxing day. I'm trying to get something for my nephew around that point, do you think there is one coming soon?

    • +1

There aren't any plans on a budget tier system most likely until these orders are cleared through, in all likelihood.

  • Ordered the 14900KF rtx 4080. I asked for the case to be white in the order details, so just wondering if that's possible, or are there only black ones available?

    • +1

The only white case is the MSI MAG Pano which is not compatible with that build, so it would be black.

      • also one more thing i didnt see an option for shipping insurance in the checkout

  • Thinking about this, do we know which 4090 Gigabyte card it will be?

  • +1

    Cheers @luketechfast! Ordered an i9 w/ 4090, very excited!

Also would please love to request 2 x 32GB chips to give some upgrade headroom if possible :)

When approximately would it likely arrive to Sutherland Shire, south Sydney? What’s the likelihood it will arrive before the 7th of Jan?

    • +1

Thanks! I would say being realistic with public holidays, logistics backlogs, volume of orders yesterday, etc, arrival by the 7th would be a stretch. We will do our best on RAM config for you.

      • No problem at all! We’ll actually be away until then, so was kinda hoping that was going to be the answer 😂

        Cheers Luke!

  • where about are you guys at if want to pick up myself in adelaide ?

    • Beverley

  • Hey Team,

Just wondering what the turnaround time is for AMD Ryzen 5 5600 | RTX 3080 Gaming PC(techfast.com.au): $1388 after 5600-3080-BOXINGDAY to be delivered to Sydney.

    • Shipping through early to mid January for these is most likely.

  • Hey, I am trying to purchase RTX 4070 Ti PC but whenever I try to place an order it says "Payment Failed". How can I resolve this issue? is it because this build is out of stock? Cheers.

    • The system is working so it sounds possibly like an issue with the payment method - have you tried a different browser or device?

  • Any chance of more i9 / 4080 builds becoming available?

  • I'm interested in the i9 4080 configuration. Is it possible to delay delivery (to WA)? I'll be out of country until 30th Jan and don't want it arriving before then. Thanks

    • That would be fine, just leave a note in the Order Notes field at checkout.

  • Intel Core i9 14900KF | RTX 4090 Gaming PC is sold out!

  • Both i9 builds are sold out…. Do you have any ETA for this one Luke.
    Cheers

  • Hi, would there be anymore of the i9/4080 be available?

  • is it possible for these pcs to be shipped before 2024 if I purchased one (the 4070ti option) yesterday? The description states that the pcs are scheduled for shipping early jan.

    • No, shipping will commence in January

  • +1

Cheers for the deals, just ordered a 4070ti, going to be a huge upgrade from my current rx580!

    • Beauty!

  • Hey could it be possible to reserve a single 4070ti + 7500f unit for me. I will receive my payslip in a couple days.

I would appreciate if you could do this.

    • +1

I would if I could but there just isn't a function for this to happen that doesn't risk it being mucked up and resulting in disappointment.

      • Do you'll think it'll still be in stock by the 3rd of January?

I should be able to purchase it by then :)

        • +1

Hard to say mate, but we will always be back with another deal!

          • @luketechfast: I want your recommendation on this, should I either;

Wait for 4070 Ti super prebuilt PC's to be sold or Just purchase a 4070 Ti prebuilt next week.

I wouldn't mind waiting a couple months, but I'm just worried that the super models will either cost more or will take a long time for TechFast to incoporate the supers into your prebuilts.

Just curious but, would you guys be able or at least interested in quickly receiving stock in bulk from suppliers after the 4070 Ti super launch?

            • @MrBirb: The general advice here is that there will always be something coming in a relatively short space of time that will supersede another deal/PC. And second, the Super will provide some sort of jump in performance, but not equivalent to a Series jump (ie 40 to 50 series), and there will always be a price difference at launch, and supply is always more limited at launch so we can't guarantee we'd have enough for a deal. If the 4070 Ti deal meets your needs spec wise and you need it now, grab it. If you're happy to wait, wait.

              • @luketechfast: I'd be willing to wait for 1-2 months. But I have my doubts if the refreshes will cost the same as current cards or if builders will receive a cheap supply of stock by then.

Does these builds (specifically the 4070ti + 7500f) have extra pcie lanes for wifi cards? I feel they are more reliably the USB wifi adaptors which can be easily dislodged from moving the PC.

  • Will the 4070ti build fit an Aorus GC-WBAX200 wifi card?

    • No, only a USB adapter will work due to card size and PCIE slot position on that board.

  • So hard to buy without instalments option. I purchased before from TechFast on promotion and they had the option of payment method with instalments. I wished they had the same thing now.

  • Will the 4070ti build be back in stock?

  • +2

Has anyone received their PC yet?

    • +1

      No, not yet.

    • Nope

    • Not yet.

    • Does anyone know if they send out an email when shipped? Viewing my account on their website doesn't seem to show any status update.

      • I did pick up on my order (black friday deal) but got an email letting me know when it was ready.

    • Nope, still waiting from the 26th :(

    • Still waiting…

    • +2

Also still no, no comms after the initial payment.

    • +1

Did you end up receiving "Order Shipped" yet?
I still haven't heard anything from TechFast

    • Email received yesterday saying order shipped

    • Received the PC yesterday.

  • How easy would it be to switch from linux mint to windows? Just wondering what the process would be.

    • Just install the OS?

      • +1

That's not particularly helpful lol. At least link a lmgtfy or something 😂
        "How do I cure cancer?"
        "Just cure it?"

@Kunai maybe try Google something like "create installation media on Linux". Here is the first link I found https://itsfoss.com/bootable-windows-usb-linux/

        • Thanks a lot mate!

    • There is some guidance coming together with the PC. You'll need to download the .iso Windows (5-6GB) and put it on an USB stick. Also the Windows key is needed. Instructions look clear and no special knowledge is required. I didn't go through the process myself yet, will try it tonight

  • Just received an email update on my order placed on the 28/12/23.
    - 4070ti
"Order Shipped - Order is on the way"

  • Woohoo! My order just shipped! It's an i9 4080, I ordered within an hour of the announcement, so it's probably one of the first i9 shipments

    • So has mine. I9 4080 build, ordered within 30 mins of deal posting.

  • +1

Ordered the i9 4090 system fully optioned @ $5k. Reached out to them to discuss the possibility of upgrading some of the components further (at my additional cost of course). After complete lack of communication for days and days at a time, I was informed no modifications or cancellations were possible because components were already ordered and staff scheduled to complete the build. They refused to provide a phone number or call me. Disappointed, but accepting, I ordered the MSI Thunderbolt expansion card compatible with the motherboard in this deal. After being assured it was due to ship imminently, over a week later I received an email stating they don’t even have the motherboard they sold me a month ago, and can’t even provide an ETA for when they will. I will be lodging a dispute with my credit card company. Purchase at your own risk, you’ve been warned.

    Full email transcript for transparency:

    Me - 3rd of Jan

    Hey guys,

Would it possibly be too late to cancel this order by any chance?

    TechFast - 4th of Jan

    Hi Dan,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, we are not able to simply cancel your order at this stage.

Upon receiving an order, we immediately begin processing the order. As every PC we sell is customisable (or made-to-order), this includes ordering stock, committing staffing resources, administrative work, and other related procedures, all of which represent a cost to our business. Therefore once an order is placed we cannot accept a cancellation and offer a full refund, be it for change of mind or any other reason, without cost.
Cancellations can be handled in two ways:
    1) Order cancelled and refund issued for 75% of the total cost, 20% will be provided in the form a one time use coupon and 5% will be kept by us to cover the fees associated.
    2) Order cancelled and a credit for the full amount provided, in the form of a coupon code to use on our website at any other time. This can be used in one full amount or multiple partial amounts.

Please let me know your thoughts on this, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

    Me - 4th of Jan

Cheers for the quick reply Caleb!

Any chance you guys could match this deal instead?

    \<snipped out of respect \/\>

I don’t care so much about the case or RGB. But the better RAM, mobo and GFX card.

Do you guys have a phone number that I could call for a chat?

    Me - 5th of Jan

    Hey guys,

Just following up on this one. Would love to sort this out one way or another :)

    TechFast - 5th of Jan

    Hi Dan,

Apologies for not getting back to you sooner.

Unfortunately, we don't have an active phone line at the moment.

We aren't able to do any price matching sorry, these systems are already quite heavily discounted.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Me - 5th of Jan

No probs man, I’m sure you guys are busy!

Yeah I understand guys, it’s ok if you guys are more expensive, but are you able to do a similar build with ASUS Strix mobo, GFX and faster RAM? Happy to pay more than PCCG if it’s a fair price :)

    TechFast - 12th of Jan @ 7:30PM (a full week later)

    Hi Dan,

Unfortunately, we don't have a phone line at this time and all inquiries are handled via email at the moment.

We aren't really able to deviate from the original configuration aside from the upgrades listed on the options in the build page.

We don't really do custom builds and all stock is based on what is available at the time, and what is mentioned on the ozbargain page.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Me - 13th of Jan

    When will it arrive approximately?

TechFast - 15th of Jan (2 days later)

    Hi Dan,

It should be shipping out this week and will likely arrive to you early-mid next week.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

TechFast - 23rd of Jan (over a week later)

    Good afternoon Dan,

I hope this email finds you well.

We are just reaching out in regard to your boxing day order placed with us.

Firstly, we would like to thank you for your patience during this busy period, and particularly after facing these delays on your order.

An update on where we are currently at with these orders. Unfortunately, these delays experienced are due to an issue with our shipment of the MSI PRO Z790-P WIFI motherboards offered with these builds. Due to circumstances outside of our control, the shipment has been delayed to us and is expected to arrive to us some time early next week.

We have been able to source an alternative motherboard, the Gigabyte Z790 Gaming X AX which we are expecting to receive tomorrow. If you would be happy to swap to this alternative, we can process your order with the utmost priority upon receiving the shipment of motherboards.

If you would prefer to stick with the MSI motherboard, we will process your order ASAP as soon as they arrive to us.

Due to this delay, we will be processing a refund of $50 for your order for the inconvenience.

Please let me know your thoughts on this, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

And again, thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Me - Jan 23rd @ 9:18pm

    Guys,

This whole process has been an absolute farce. I asked to cancel the order. After an absurd back and forth via email, and flat refusal to even call me, you said it couldn’t be done because you had already ordered the components and scheduled staff to build it. Then what, a month later, after I’ve already purchased an MSI thunderbolt 4 expansion card for a PC you’ve forced me to proceed with, now you’re telling me you indeed dont have stock of the motherboard and can’t even give an ETA for when you will.

At my earliest convenience I will be lodging a dispute with American Express. This is unacceptable. At this point the alternate deal I wanted to buy is now gone. So thanks for that too. Do better.
