Haahaha. I wouldn't even take one of these if it was free. The fact I need to pay $49 for 6 rings containing 25 bags each is insane.

          • @Pikaloo: Hi Pikaloo,

The refill rings are $39 for a 6 pack which comes out to $6.50 per pack. An average 30 pack of tie bin liners are $9 per pack.

@numi: If you want to talk about your sale price and not MSRP then Amazon is selling Glad 72 pack 18L bags for $5.51: https://www.amazon.com.au/Wavetop-Small-Kitchen-Tidy-Bag/dp/….

Your bags at $39 comes out to $0.26 cents each and Amazon is selling Glad bags for half that price.

Moreover, with this proprietary mechanism of bagging means that if your company shuts down the bins are effectively worthless.

        • Hi WatchNerd, as mentioned before these are real purchases and not fake popups.

        • They're using ToastiBar, which doesn't let you display fake orders (against ToS)

They could manually submit fake orders, but that would screw up their analytics and a bunch of other stuff, definitely more effort than it's worth

      Hey WatchNerd,

The popups are indeed real customers and not fake.

      • No, no they arent. They are a shopify addon to try and drive purchases using FOMO. It has already been well established on this site that these "zzzz in xxxx just bought yyyy…." are just marketing gimmicks and nothing more.

And even if they are real, they are tacky AF based on the fact that 99% of them on other sites are faked.

  • These bins work great as automatic nappy bags, bought the Townew models years back, refills from AliExpress . For parents it might be worth it imo

If only the sealed bags could also jump up, walk themselves outside, open the garbage bin lid to jump in, and lock the door again they opened on the way out lol

  • This looks horrendous on so many levels

I don't understand why this product exists. It's not that hard to tie a bag and replace it. Merely seconds of work. For that reason, I think this is an extremely expensive product even at this discount.

Also as WN said, those purchase popups are obnoxious, trying to pressure you into buying something.

  • I did not know it was possible to neg only because we don't like the look of the product or a different item costs less on Amazon.

  • Hey rep, I tried googling this but can only find a model from "Townew" but it seems identical to yours. Is yours a rebrand?

  • Self changing?? I have one of these at home, it's called a "child".
