  when you apply the discount the description specifically states it is the XPS 13, I tried applying it on another XPS system and it did not work.

    They were upset that the word "off" was missing from the original post title. Hardly neg worthy IMO, suggest the OP changes the title and not bother negging or plusing!

  I decided to place an order as the new generation xps 13 will be priced at the full recommended retail price for quite some time and I doubt that will be huge difference in performance.
